The communications throughout the issue, or the lack thereof, was a greater disappointment than the issue itself.

We had to find the specific update post to have an update (instead of having it in the website banner or the game login screen), no ETA was given on the rollback, and you've been ghosting the player base for more than an hour at times.

I understand you wanted to maximize your resources on fixing the issue, but like I said the lack of communication, the quality of the communication, was a greater issue by itself.

It's IT. Things go wrong. You can have the best of the best on your teams, prepare everything in advance into minute detail, run simulations and tests for weeks, but any intervention just inherently comes with a risk of something going wrong. The high and ever-growing complexity of the infrastructure, frameworks and methods just make it impossible to think of and eliminate every possible issue.

In short, nice to see you're making improvements to procedures and all, but, shit happens. Dont lose any sleep over it
