0.2.0g Incident Report

Some of you are rude for no good reasons and could use some time outside.

Tech guy
I don't post much. I'm always lurking, reading post from GGG updates but without Chris Poe1/2 are doomed.
I will continue to always praise devs for this level of communication even if I disagree with their design philosophy. Keep it up GGG. This kind of stuff is what sets you apart from the horrible AAA studios.

Chris literally left the company after every one of his changes got nerfed into oblivion and his pet project Ruthless mode failed. Not listening to players is what sinks companies. Same for any business. If your customers are telling you your the food is bad more than good. Time to change ingredients or the menu. Stubborness and business don't go together.

Ty for the explanation. And yes, it's good to backup the DB before deployment. kkkkkkkkkk..

Also, as a suggestion, for those guys changing IDs in production, deleting data without where in the clause, these type of things, print their photos and add to a "Employee of the month" panel... We always do that in our company, believe me, by experience, no one wants to be there. kkkkkkkkk

How about those streamers that are in the hideout 24/7 tho we gonna ban them?

Ban them for what?
+1 for blue/green deployments. Being able to immediately revert to a working copy is a huge lifesaver in release anxiety.

On the topic of the skill destruction test, you may be able optimize when this needs to run for letter patches by querying the ids and seeing if it needs to run or not. Granted, I have no idea how your system looks or works from the inside, but detecting when automated tests need to run via change detection can really speed up build pipelines and release workflows.
I also have a job and wish to extrapolate my work environment to GGG's

Good game good game
Yawn. Sell more microtranactions.
