Item Changes in Path of Exile 2

Too late.

Your obsession with Ruthless 2.0 ruined the game for me. Just because the wisp now makes a rare that has been gigabuffed to 5x hp now drops a single rare item, doesn't mean I'm interested in coming back.

Last Epoch is simply more fun. Hey, they even managed to make multiple 1-minion-builds viable (Wraithlord, Abomination, Archmage, Falcon). Meanwhile you can't even get one right (Reaper).

The one thing I was looking forward to this league was capturing my own rares. Then I looked and saw that you nerfed basically anything that would be useful for the player on a rare and most of it is designed in a way where it's only useful to the rare itself. Which means you can't do crap with it, since it simply eats too much spirit for a summoner and does too little as a supporter for a non-summoner.

I'm not sure what I'm even expecting anymore. Maybe cya in 1.0

Anyways, POE2 has less player retention. It had all-time peak player count of >570k. 0.2 release had a peak count of ~250k. That is less than 50% of player retention for a new, major release.
LE had a all-time peak player count of ~250k. The lates release had a peak count of ~150k. That is way more than 50% of player returning (or newly investing) in LE.
PS5 console, the tower cannot be activated with the tablet plugged in. Error msg: the tower has been activated. Can this be fixed ASAP? otherwise the atlas is unplayable.

And you are aware that LE had a life-time peak player count on steam of less than half of POE2? POE2 had less than double peak count in April, and the average player count is not even 20% higher.

Guess streamer echo chamber is not that useful (loot pinata and 0 challenge with meaningless progression) and really hope GGG takes note to not going this road.

The worst league/cycle of GGG history (if you listen the karens vocal minority) went from 250K to 170K within 10 days.
With a patch quite barebone in term of content (1 class no new end game mechanic)
250K is top 50 ALL TIME conccurent player on steam only, add GGG launcher and consoles, do the math if you will.

GGG PLEASE ….PLEASE …..PLEASE STOP making 80% of our drops fit a DIFFERENT CLASS? All these buffs will mean nothing if we getting great drops for something we are not playing. I DONT WANNA BE FORCED TO ENGAGE IN TRADING!!!!! I’m AMAZON and I SEE 1000 CROSSBOWS A DAY!
You're making some great improvements—keep up the good work.

I'm still skipping to version 0.3.0 and another skill balance update. In particular, I’d like to see cooldowns removed from skills and buffing weak skills. Not 5% buffs, some skills will not work even with 500%. You need to do a major pass on all skills.

Balancing has never been the game’s strong suit, and since this is still in beta, that's understandable. However, the balance changes in 0.2.0 felt like a step back, and none of the current top builds appeal to me.

LE after almost a year without any decent content was not even able to reach their all time peak (No new class or mastery during this year of cooking)

POE2 after a bit more than 3 months and a barebone 0.2 (EA game let's not forget) brought a huge amount of players back for only 1 class and no new meaningful mechanic.

But cope harder, i name it when people like you came here 10 days ago (Streamer echo chamber) praising so much LE to devaluate POE2 and now well you look silly.
Your Favorite Gen Z streamer played 2 days LE (Was paid to do so) and went back to his normal routine, player base did not remain.

And look i do not have anything against LE, i wish them the best, i just hope GGG never follow LE or D4 road, we want (and numbers show) something different than the usual zoom zoom braindead loot pinata without challenge game.
We have top notch gameplay and best class design we ever got in any ARPG (Monk - amazone to name only these)
Jonhathan is right and time will tell (well he already won with the records numbers POE2 got)

Please come back here when a new act/Druid/Blight will be released and show us the numbers, you will stay in the loser toxic minority camp when GGG shareholders will bath in $$$ pool and us the silentious majority will keep enjoying the game. :D

Honestly dropping a rare item all the time still going to feel shit. Because
1. There is no crafting
2. They drop in identified, which means we have to waste time picking up and identifying items. If they were at least identified, we could use a loot filter to filter the rare item with two lowest tier mods.

Anyways. Not enough to come back right now. Hoping for much better in later patches.
Please add option to appear offline, or to at least block another character. Thanks love the game, want to be able to play in peace.
