I honestly would like Option B. Gold is so useless in this game. Respecing shouldnt cost money imo either, just feels bad as you can hardly do it during campaign a lot. Maybe a bit.

The main reason I would like Option B is because it would make Gold drops and especially Castaway unique map an actual hype moment. Perfect Jewelers are so rare and you would like 5-6 per character. 1M Gold is not something you always have if you want but at the same time very achievable if you farm for it, also with +% gold mod maps (another benefit that this mod would be not completely useless then).

I'm level 85 and have been doing T15/T16 maps for a while and have never even had a single Greater Jeweler's Orb drop, let alone a Perfect Jeweler's Orb. Why are they so rare?

Update: Level 82 in SSF and only lessers still. Back in 0.1.0 I had two greaters before I was out of the campaign. LMAO.

I refuse to believe you couldn't possibly hit a 5link corruption. Even if you can't afford to burn GCPs you're most likely gonna get more benefit from an extra support gem on a 0% quality skill. You only need approximately 10-20 Vaal Orbs and Lesser Jewelers. Also, Greater Jewelers are dropping regularly if you're juicing properly.

No juicy maps, 0% MF on gear, most of the drops from white tier 1 maps.

There will be people who get Perfects every other day, and there will be people who never get a Perfect in 90 levels of gameplay.

This "I got it so you must be doing something wrong" thinking is wrong and doesn't belong in this discussion.

Even if the game is tuned so that 99% of players will get a Perfect Jeweler's Orb by level 90, it means that there's 1% who could have got none. At say 100,000 players, that's 1,000 players who could level to 90 without ever seeing a Perfect, on average.

POE2's problem is that it has no protection against the worst case scenarios and that's where the complaints come from.

If you're having good loot, good for you. But you having good loot isn't proof that other people are doing it wrong.

I guess, you are on trade league, otherwise extremely unlucky.

In my opinion they should allow reforging of jewelers orbs. Even greater orbs are scarce.
