I've had a map drop 0 items. Not just the boss, the entire map. Literally 0 items, nothing. Not even gold.

was it mayhaps an untainted paradise? (unique map, drops no loot but has x2-3 xp)

Bib is being nerfed in 0.3, so enjoy it while you can.

just let us 3 to one these dumb orbs. the drop chance of greater and perfect ones is nearly 0. There is no use for lesser ones at all and i dont see the reason why you would not allow us to 3 to 1 our 30 lesser garbage orbs to something useable. it might take a while but there is a light at the end of the tunnel to get a 6 link at some point without trading for it.

Imo letting players 3-1 the crap orbs would fix all issues getting 5 or 6 links wich would also increase the caracter progression and make it less of a pain in the ass to get your builds running.

Tbh i don´t know why nobody at GGG thought about this.

Make Perfect and Greater orbs craftable. It's the only logic solution. Rarity still remains the same.

Or plan B: tradeable in Alva with gold coin.

I can buy 100 lesser orbs with 1 exalted orb.
I think if anything these ones drop way too often. Like annoyingly often and they are worthless once you start mapping.

1 of the greater orbs is currently 4ex. which is affordable.
Perfect however is 170ex Xd it just doesn't feel right.

The reason greater and perfects orbs are rare because the ggg wants to add another 1000 supports by 1.0 and you will still play your skills on 4 link so they can collect the salt on your face

Over 120 hours of play on one character in the current version of the game, only one Perfect Jeweller's Orb has dropped in all that time.

I think none of the Jeweler's should be this scarce.

I thought the chase item would be a corrupted 6(?)-link (not sure on the "link" terminology, being a newcomer to POE).

But currently it feels like the Perfect Jewel itself is the chase item.

And that's on top of a level 20(?) gem. So a "perfectly corrupted 6-link lv 20 skill gem", would be a chase item that comes from a destructive corruption that works off a chase item that works off a chase item.

I think this is a little too excessive.
