theses nodes are not accurate in re to what they say vs what they give
" There's only one of those nodes "Shield Evasion" and I bet it's a tooltip issue and it should also read "Evasion Rating". Just like "Bestial Skin" gives "100% Evasion Rating from equipped body armor". |
|
" That is not what anyone is really saying. Your chance to evade is calculated by your evasion rating and divided by the monsters' estimated accuracy at your level. The evasion rating number is clearly stated if you hover over your evade chance. That number will go up by exactly 15%. It is not muddy, nor murky. OP just misunderstands what "15% increased of X" means. |
|
" Yeah good point, probably just a tooltip issue. I guess thinking about it again, it is a tiny bit more clear to some players if you add in "rating". I think that most new players would just think "rating" is the same as "chance" anyway. It's important to understand that everything is a number that is increased, it will not reflect exactly that amount in practice, ever, and will always vary on the build's setup and gear. That's why I think it's more important to understand that concept and what "increased" and "more" mean in terms of PoE stats. |

" It increases the base value. Just like any other skill node. For example majority of block chance nodes give +5% Usually base block chance of a shield is 25% So 25% * 1.05= 26.25% Thats why some stats are more valuable. Or warbringer have a ascendancy skill that changes the sheilds base block chance to 40%, instantly boosting all your block chance nodes. But it goes the same with crit chance, crit multiplier, etc... |

Evasion = BaseEvasion * (incr1 + incr2 + incr3 + ...) * more1 * more2 * ...
Chance to evade is calculated based on your evasion and the enemy's accuracy. Evasion is not a random system. Instead, it uses a deterministic "entropy" system that ensures a hit will occur after a certain number of evades. |

Easiest solution.
Hold ALT (or Ctrl???) it's RightStick/R3 on controller to see the increase/decrease of stats from taking nodes. but also, it's 15% increase of the evasion rating not your evade chance (which is calculated from evasion rating) |
