This connection issue happens every day, always around EU midday, always for several hours, and almost doesnt happen in the EU evening at least for me
Still same issue here aswell, hope this soon goes to known issues page.

Also switching from EU --> DC, fixed the issue, although latency is more contantly around 100 - 150 MS, i never get the 300+ spikes.

Well, even if it works, personally for me it will be problematic to swap to 100-150 when I usually have less than 10 :(

That's seriously problematic.

I can get a lot of things:

- broken builds: can be fixed and in meantime you can try something else or do stuff slower than before
- too strong monsters: again, it takes more time but was announced to be fixed
- spectres: again, announced, will be fixed, find alternative

But servers being unstable for 4 days?
We need to find another alternative, then, too?
Seriously, I don't want to. I was hyped for a new patch so me and my second half can start playing again. Now? Either one of us is out of patience and quit due to that server issues, today's is a fourth day and it will be the same.

If I'm going to find alternative - fine, so be it, even if I don't wish to. But I don't have the luxury to play few games constantly so it ends with keeping to something else up to the new season in PoE2 most likely.

It's not a threatening or something, it's a fact that people are working on daily basis and would love to get some - at least - foggy idea about what is going to happen.

In other words: any announcement from GGG would be VERY helpful. They are working, too, there are people that are responsible for server conditions, so this is their job. I get it - not everything can be solved within a day.

But one small information about "hey, we know about that, we are working on it, please give us few days to fix it" would be enough.

I think they working on it.
But,just a short message 3 days ago and all would be fine ... .
I could be wrong but it seems to me there are 2 issues:

1. The server is disconnecting.
2. The game/server isn't pausing the instance and saving like it does if you lose connection client side e.g. closing the game.

Effectively it's disconnecting at a certain time but the client isn't recognising that for several minutes or when you do something to force a save. As it often crashes during porting.

If NA servers seem ok I guess we will have to live with that until this gets fixed.

Yeah it would be good to get some sort of information about what the issue is and when we can expect to solved.
Also, It is just not worth to grind the endgame to higher maps. Better to farm lower maps and expect to lose some of them.
Not being the dark about the issue would help adjust the way we play, because until it is not solved it is just a to much risk and frustration to push maps.
And we can't know when an issue is supposed to be solved, if GGG doesn't say they have addressed it.
I mean.. not having a single post from GGG around that large issue in days is frustrating..
Everyone is busy with fixing a1 wolves movespeed for no reason, or what?
PoE nowadays looks more and more like a fork server with tons of custom weird experimental stuff rather than original game with carefully thought out balance brough live to players.
