Yup, It's just uncromulantly inconceivable. They really should let us gleam every minute change to set our own expectations before experiencing the changes first hand. If I regret a decision i make in this game then why bother.

you mean..like a patch notes annoucement, something that damn near every game releases from large MMOS to fucking sports-games?
People need that shit especially in a game where building your own character is 40% of the game play loop.
People dont have time to grind out something only for it to be underwhelming, games should respect players time since ya know we dont have an infinte amount of it.

I know u're baiting, but just to give u a different viewpoint on why people might want to know beforehand.

I'm usually deciding if I play a league in PoE a few days before launch. When I got all the information about changes and league mechanics that are out there. I'll start theorycrafting a build that excites me. And that excitement leads to anticipation of the upcoming league start.

Without the first step, there's no excitement to play, hence I skip the league, which I did multiple times in PoE1. (for a variety of reasons)
So when GGG doesn't publish those details, it stops me from getting into step 1. I wasn't very keen on trying 0.2 in the first place, mind u, but this just seals the deal.

Honestly if i could play windwaker on switch 1 right now I wouldnt even play this patch until i completed windwaker.

Poe1 leagues and the way pob works and the kinds of patch notes we get have me excited the entire 2 weeks before league start. Poe2 is kind of like whatever. If im bored ill do it.

Its possible it is fun and addicting, but there is no anticipation.
