Am i missing something

Did we get patch notes? i see them but there is no gem information. i feel like this should be a "part 1".

I wonder if they won't release it so we can't pob anything.

Or i missed something.

Is there a list of the spear skills and info about the gems somewhere?

It's hilarious actually. I am not sure what was purpose to release this without gem info.

Well they figured we could only handle so much pain in one blow I suppose, they want to give people false hope, they've got to try and at least get a few people to play.

Maybe the gem changes are even worse and they wanted people to check out the update because copium.

I don't think that could be true, at a minimum huntress is going to be broken on some level, or spears in general. Unless they're super reliant on parry. If you cant 1 button any spear skills nobody is going to want to play that shit. Its ok in campaign but once everyone converges their day to day playstyle to mapping as fast as possible that isn't going to fly.

Without seeing gems, I'm still completely apathetic to this patch. There is nothing in me excited, and I'm not really upset about any nerfs. They may as well not had patch notes if we have 0 information.

For all we know the changes to all of the skill gems will make everyone 10x stronger, or they could be 10x weaker.

You can't be objectively upset right now because we don't know anything outside of functional changes.

So weird. We'll have to learn about the game by playing it and discovering things as we encounter them in the game. or wait 2 days and check a wiki.

In a game where respeccing has weight and you cant respec ascendancy its pretty important to know whats going on before you click that character.

Its not like were a kid playing a link to the past for the first time and have to discover stuff yourself. If you click warrior. Then find out sunder was actually nerfed by a large margin, and you hate the way earthquake, stampede, rolling slam, and earthshatter play then you will be rerolling. Also if you make a huntress. Then realize all spear skills require you to parry to do anything in endgame then you might not want to click that one if you want to be able to farm maps for hours.

It really is. They never did that for PoE1. In fact they usually gave gem spoilers way ahead of time, so people could prepare. They even published gem changes that were multiple pages long.
Now all of a sudden the changes are "too many" to include them? At a point where it's kinda important to know if the skill u're gonna start with is the same as it used to be or not.

It's not the games' launch, where we want to discover new stuff. It's old stuff that just got changed, or not who knows.

Thats why I have faith that the supports will all be syzergy style supports and the numbers will be so low they might as well be in the negatives.
They did say they expected most builds to average 50k damage
when thats not even enough to out-damage a rare mob with regen in a t15 waystone
