The Poe 1 League will last a week with most players, then drop to 5%, the priority is Poe 2.

Here's the thing. The people that will continue to buy supporter packs are poe1 players. You said it yourself. Why bother playing seasonal that will drop to 5/10% after a week? That will hold true for poe2 as well, for all you guys who are just flavor of the month bandwagoning poe2. Most of the poe2 EA keys will never touch this game again. While poe1 reaches new heights every single league, poe2 will never reach the same peak again, except maybe at 1.0 launch.

Who does that leave to keep funding your precious poe2? Poe1 players. who are currently getting shafted, and are much less likely to pay for supporter packs next league, for every month that goes by without a new poe1 league.

Simply wanted to point out why everything you said is basically nonsense, but once again you've proved my point by going for a plurality of logical fallacies. Of course PoE 2 will have a better future than PoE 1, it's a new game with better and updated systems, I've never claimed otherwise.

That's why there is a reset. For more than a decade people enjoyed a reset from time to time.
In PoE 1 i set a goal to achive, i reach it and i gamble all my items and quit and it's all good.

no one is playing seasons for the "economy" they are playing for the new content

the economy of these games doesnt matter. if you trade u are going to be geared in a week, if u are ssf maybe 2 or 3 weeks

the economy will never matter.

just get rid of seasons and periodically add new content to the main game.
then the people who dont want to reset are happy, and the people who want new content are happy..

no one loses

trading will always be a thing even without seasons becuase people make new characters/builds all the time.

dare i say trading might actually be BETTER without seasons artificially inflating prices. sure trading an item for 10000 divines feels "fun" but its going to COST you 10000 divines to BUY something too
so its not really any different that selling an item for 1 and buying for 1

All the people crapping on "season based games" somehow not realizing PoE 2 is also season based lol
