almost 2 months and still no map stash tab
" You have no idea how a map tab works if you're claiming it'll save you from 900 maps. More like 72 per tier.... You should buy 11 map tabs to prepare. |

I'm actually worried that the map tab is going to be mostly useless, since they won't be able to stack anything but normal waystones.
Judging from how they just dump all cut skill gems together in one big pile in their Gem tab, while only separating the uncut gems, I fear the map tab is going to do the same thing: it's gonna have slots for normal quality waystones of each tier, then everything non-normal from T1 to T16 are just gonna dump in one big zone. I hope I'm wrong, I really hope I'm wrong, but we have the Gem tab being the way it is... Dernière édition par kumogakure#7381, le 30 janv. 2025 12:01:32

" I also think that GGG is deliberately not importing map stash so that most new players without storage space will feel the need to buy stash in the meantime. It's such a pain to have to juggle 4/5 stashes between maps, breach drop, expedition and so on. I'm currently filling my third quad tab with maps only (with a “very-strict” filter from neversink, which hides low-level maps). µ " There's no reason why this should be the case. Why would it be possible to put rare/corrupt maps on 1 and not on 2? I can't think of any world in which the map stash would only accommodate normal maps. " Doesnt contribute to revenue, not a priority. They are probably more interested in implementing currency purchases from the MTX store. |

"You can combine precursor tablets as long as they are the same type and rarity. Just combine the bad ones until you get good ones. |

" im expecting the gem tab to be improved, its bad currently, but at least it exists | |
" Its entirely possible they could remove the inventory space mechanic with maps entirely. There are already nodes on the atlas. Why do you need a waystone in the first place. Map tab is too easy to make and such an annoying frustration to hold off this long. It makes no sense unless they will remove the way waystones work atm. They could easily make a system like the kirac mission in poe1 where you earn x number of x type of map and you are able to just place them on the atlas itself and the nodes are more like delve with their own mods. " I'm not saying it would only accommodate normal maps. I'm saying it's not possible to STACK magic and rare maps because they all have different affixes. Normal maps can't be stacked but they are all the same, so it's at least technically possible to make them stack. And since it's not possible for the game to evaluate how good a map is for the player, due to it depending highly on each player's build, they necessarily will be dumping all maps of the same tier together in one area, just like the uncut gems in the gem tab we have now. If that's how they are going to implement it, then the map tab will only be useful as a dump, any map that we have juiced and evaluated to be good/bad, will have to be manually placed elsewhere if we want to keep them separated. And that would make the map tab mostly useless because by the time we're juicing maps and sorting juiced maps, we're only really interested in dealing with T15/16 maps anyways, but all T15s would just be right next to each other in the map tab. I feel the real reason they haven't released the map tab isn't because it's taking time to implement. It's because they have no good ideas for how to make it useful, and it's still on the drawing board. |

PREACHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! I agree with everyone, its pretty absurd that a waystone tab still hasnt made it in the game yet.

" This is undoubtedly how the map stah will work, as on PoE 1. For juiced maps, you can always use an extra stash dedicated to this. The simple fact of being able to put all your maps in a single stash that also sorts out tiers is ,in any case, a big QoL. " I don't see why the map stash in PoE 2 would be any different from the map stash in PoE 1 in its operation. It seems more likely to me that its release is delayed to “force” the purchase of stash. I could be wrong, and GGG may be having real trouble implementing it in the game, but but knowing that they've managed to implement certain stashes (essences, for example) even though the stacked content is different from PoE 1 makes me wonder. Another thing: we already have the Delirium stash but not the breach stash. Which of the 2 mechanics requires the most storage space ? ;) Maybe I'm getting into conspiracy theories here, and time will tell why this delay occurred, but if map stash works like it did in PoE 1 (which I think it probably will) then I'd be more inclined to think that it was delayed to force purchases (which seems like a good strategic approach to making more money).
