almost 2 months and still no map stash tab

title says it all, im surprised not more people are complaining about this

they said they are going to add it as soon as possible ( that was in december )

clearly because new players are still buying tons of extra tabs for the lack of the convenience old tabs not working YET(soon tm) and they will all buy the convenience tabs later on anyways when they're ''fixed''


this is the third(fourth?) stash tabs sales going on. they might ofc ''fix'' old ones out of sales weekends as well.

I am going to be blunt here and say the truth:
Chinese company makes money by selling "regular" stash tabs.

So GGG has 2 options:

1. Release map stash.
2. Earn money for "10c".

Guess what they pick.
This is the side effect of being "owned".

(We have good saying in my country about "selling yourself", but this post being edgy already, makes me not want to risk it taken down.)

The more people reach end-game, the more people buy regular stash tabs.
Every month delayed is more money for them.

I also have map stash tab, but I am waiting...
Not giving more money for China, no thank you.

I might be completely wrong, but I think they have something better than a map tab.

If we think about it, bringing a map tab to PoE 2 should be extremely trivial as it's fully implemented in PoE 1 already.

So, why the delay?

It could be that they're designing an Atlas storage, where you can see all waystones, tablets, boss fragments, etc, and maybe even roll maps from this new interface.

Maybe this is just wishful thinking, but I don't see any other logical explanation for it.

keep selling extra tabs to new players for as long as possible before re-introducing the convenience ones is the LOGICAL exp

people will buy stash tabs anyway 1 quad more or less doesnt really make a big difference

almost 2 months in is more than enough time for them to make a map tab if they wanted to. they just want to sell more regular tabs for people to store their maps in

They go on sale every three weeks during the weekend. That's normal and has been the case for Path of Exile for years.

While it's easy to put the tinfoil hat on and say it's because they are milking players and it's greed driven, I think it's just that they haven't had the code in place to properly sort the Waystones. It may be that it's ready now of course, but they are probably going to do a bigger release all at once rather than trickling in features, which is quite honestly a shame. Though, understandably, it could be a strategic decision for now since the next patch may carry with it hard nerfs to the stronger meta builds, and they want to sprinkle in some "wins" in the patch with say a Waypoint stash and perhaps a new class/weapon.

i played 1-96 and never had issues keeping my maps on 1 normal tab
