POE2 Shutdown of my PC: A fix

I have the same problem, pc shuts down, nothing i have done works, game is trash
Hello guys,i had the same issue till before 1 week.

How i made it ? , after a long fight in the tech store i bought some parts of my PC,i was insisting that the GPU 7600 RX sapphire is the faulty here for my shut downs cause i have changed all my parts except my GPU.

They refused (because their benchmarks were ok) and they said we cant replace it,only if you bring ur pc in the techstore.

I went there with my whole pc,and they put me to play poe2 ( LMAO what a shame for all ) , the pc went off in classic savannah map .

Then we tried a 4060 they had as a sample for tests,PC never shutted down!!

They replaced my RX 7600 , i put some $ more , and bought the 4060ti .

Now i play shutdown free///blue screen free /// crash free.

I believe its the 7000 series , something faulty in the chipset.

Or its just the compatibility with Poe2? i really dont know.

Im free and enjoying now .

BUT GGG owes us an apology, and an explanation about this !!!

GGG admin if you see this , PLEASE , try to figure out what is going on with 7000 SERIES!

Found a solution that works for me. 2-3 days 0 shuts downs.

Lowered most of the settings to medium.
Vulkan

And then this.
1 Open PoE2
2 Open task manager
3 Go to details tab -> Path of exile 2 -> Right Click ->
-> Set Affinity -> Remove 2 cores (0 and 1)
I smell blood, something is calling me..
It has goten so bad that i literaly cant start the game to even have a chance to do any settings or anything.

Its emabarasing that we are at this point to begin with, GGG dosent give a f, no oficial response nothing...

Garbage Gringing Game
I have exactly this problem, with exactly the same graphics card:
https://www.reddit.com/r/PathOfExile2/comments/1h9gr3z/pc_crash_during_balbala_poison_attack

I avoid the problem by slightly lowering the graphics.
Another way to solve the problem is, obviously, killing Balbala before the entire room is poisoned, or finding her fast.

Didn't run into the same issue with other bosses yet, but when the screen is full of ground effects (patches of lightning and fire being the only cases I can recall) the game noticeably slows down. This is not a computer issue, this is simply a lack of optimization. The game should not be that much more demanding in resources when I run into a rare or boss with these special effects. I am aware there is an option to select "Dynamic Resolution", but I prefer to have that off. I would rather have the option (if this isn't tweaked for everyone) of reducing the complexity of a few special effects that cause issues, than having to lower resolution, lights, shadows, what have you, just because these few special effects are so unoptimized they can even crash the computer. That aside, the game is visually amazing, with nice design of areas.
If you're still having crashes and you're 100% sure it's not caused by Windows 11, check your temps and see how much wattage your computer is taking from the wall when PoE2 is running in a map, the game seems pretty demanding so if you're using an highend cpu and gpu there's good chance it's taking over 700w from the wall so your PSU might not handle it.

pre-high end cpu TDP (ryzen or intel) consumes 150W (MAXIMUM, usualy 100-120)
pre-high end gpu, consumes about 300W
all other devices, maybe 100W (actually less, but let it be)

700W-800W is enough for almost high end PC (unless you have the crazy system, for example with i9 14900k + rtx 4090 (or the same amd stuff), because if u have it = you have some platinum 1200W psu by default)

i have the same problem only with PoE2 and.... fun fact...with diablo IV (lol idk why)

all the newest single and multiplayer games from 2024, with much higher reequipments then PoE2 and D4 - runs great without any resets, shutdowns and lags at high-ultra graphics presets.

its a very weird

I'm having this issue as well. It happens particularly when tons of enemies and effects spawn on the screen. Without any warning my entire PC black screens and restarts. I thought it was just my old PSU but this is the only game where this happens and stress test benchmarks have normal results. I have already lowered my settings but getting a new PSU with more headroom is a terrible fix. GGG is actively damaging PCs by letting this issue go unchecked and this should have been fixed by now.
well, i have the same issue.

pls anyone have a solutino?

GGG pls.
The game keeps causing a black screen on my laptop. I’ve tried everything to fix it from recommendation, including limiting the CPU, but nothing has helped.

Today, with the latest update, After turning off multi-threading today, the game caused a black screen within a few minutes. This time, after a hard reset, the laptop struggled to turn back on. It powers on for a few seconds, the fan spins up, and then the black screen appears again—over and over.

Now my laptop is broken.

Spec:
CPU AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS
RAM 32.0 GB
GPU GeForce RTX 4070

So well... GGG, who would pay for my laptop? ...
