Please remove XP loss

Agreed...get rid of this nonsense. Especially when dying to bad design (u know like the crypt map on a melee char), bad server connection, lag, unending pool of poison, overtuned void tracking balls, one shot fireball from the sky coming from god knows where, well u all know.

I have an idea for GGG if u are reading this, on top of all this :

PoE2 death in a map

* Lose 10% exp
* Lose the map
* Lose all the investment in the map

All the bonus content on the node

* Lose the Boss encounter
* Lose the Rituals
* Lose the Delirium
* Lose the Expedition encounter
* Lose anything on the node ofc
* Lose the Precursor tablet investment in that map

WHY DONT YOU TAKE ALL MY GOLD AS WHILE YOU'RE AT IT !!!!!!!!!

RESPECT THE PLAYER TIME !!! This mechanic is only good for you for playtime metrics. Show us u really care and take this down once and for all.
Agree, please remove or reduce significantly XP loss for endgame content.

XP loss on Death is basically the devs not respecting the Players Time.

I already play the Game really safe thus needing much much more time to level up but sometimes it still happens that through a bug like the stun mechanic not working correctly or getting chain stunned by 5 or more enemies there is nothing you can do but die and lose hours of progress.

XP loss is the reason i stopped playing PoE1 because instead of playing the different content and try out things i was forced to not try anything besides the most safe things to progress.

Now iam playing PoE2 and have the exact same situation. Everything remotely dangerous is skipped to not jepardize the XP bar which makes the game extremely boring.

This just got me to stop playing endgame entirely. It takes 3-4 maps to regain the 10% XP that you lose and it's too easy too randomly die. The game shouldn't be "You don't get to level up if you make a mistake." Maybe it would be different if XP loss scaled to how much you could gain in a map or something. But between the awful loot tables and the XP its too easy to waste hours making no progress.

Not to mention, it incentives being overly cautious, going painfully slow, and only trying higher level maps when you just got to a new level. As opposed to, you know, having fun. For the love of god get rid of it. Please.

Losing experience points in the endgame will be the number one reason players quit—it’s just too punishing.
