Please remove XP loss

that's system is pretty dumb to be honest. It punish the player who dont play meta build, now the majority of player who want to be level max will just follow meta build. Like D4, the endgame will become boring and useless

The XP loss is the only thing that is stopping me.

It is the one mechanic, that prevents me from instant 100.



Even without XP loss, after lvl 91 it takes a full map to gain 1% exp. You would need to grind 300+ hours to get lvl 100.
Could not agree more.
This was the mechanic that singlehandedly made me quit POE.

As much as GGG respects my time with everything else (especially not deleting HC characters) – this is a giant FU and after learning about this mechanic returning I feel much less motivation to get back into POE 2. I actually feel like quitting immediately.

Please remove this godawful middle finger to your players!
XP debt was a success in City of Heroes. Partly because the debt went down automatically while you were logged out so the XP penalty was more a nudge to take a break than a full on slap in the face.

its 2024 almost 2025 why xp loss is a thing anymore?
Personally, I don't mind XP loss alone. However, throwing in keystone loss and map bonus modifiers loss is too much.

I think its fair enough to have XP loss when the game reaches a state where you can learn from deaths and figure out how to adjust to avoid them, or it would be fair enough to lose your resources in the map, but not both. Considering that party play also exists where only one party member needs to survive to complete the map, however, I think XP loss is the more reasonable death penalty to stay.

With that being said, I would not be opposed to being allowed to opt out of it in a separate league.
