Trial is bullshit

I hated Sanctum League and avoided it at all costs in Poe 1, but poe2 forces you to play it. On top of that, idk about other builds, but my poison build is pretty low damage(ranger), was hoping it would scale a bit with nodes in the future. With the above said, doing this Trial is just hell, you are wasting 20 minutes fighting thick as some moms rares and traps so after 20 minutes of running you go in the boss room and die or fight another 10 minutes with poison damage, if die you will start again... It's not even a type of mechanic where you can go get some more gear and come back, since you are losing honor instead of hp. I thought there is nothing worse than Trials of Poe 1, but damn, Poe 2 introduced a new level...

This version of sanctum is already a lot easier than the watered down version of sanctum in poe1

im giving up my warrior char due to this nonsense and frankly if sanctum run is mandatory for act 2 ascendancy then my interest in this game goes to near zero regardless ...
Armor does reduce damage taken... so does evasion helps you not getting hit. If that super easy trial is too hard for you, then just come back later. Wait for the one in act 3 instead.

100%, not only boss fights are a joke for warriors but this trial is the cherry on top. GGG still shows their "love" for melee 2 decades later.

I avoided this mechanic in "PoE 1" with all available methods,
and here you FORCE me to play this one!
and why should warriors and monks be forced to skip ascending while every ranged class can ?

this is absolute BS, the game is already stacked against the melee classes enough as it is for it to also lock one of the most impactful powerups behind mechanic that is absolutely anti-melee

especially when there is ZERO reason for it, just remove the garbage "honor" mechanic that makes it unplayable for third of the class roster ...

The honor system is the only real problem I have ran into so far. I am playing warrior.
