Trial of Ascendancy in this game FUCKING SUCK

Ultimatum is really really hard but what makes it unplayable for me is is the boss that spawns a tornado that pretty much instantly kills you.

I personally am not sure how to beat it other than killing him before he does it but it really limits what builds are useable.

It seems they made the game to where you have build options but only the lightning option is playable.

Stop using the word difficult.
It gives the illusion of challenge.

These are just shit.

Don't parade them as challenging, or hard , or anything other
than a steaming, warm, brown soft seeping pile of shit.

Got me to quit the company, anybody who could.

1) Create it
2) Defend it.
3) Keep it.

No problem, me and 500,000 people have better things to do.

If ascendancy points were not tied to this and designed for endgame loot runs, I wouldnt mind it.

RNG should not be a factor and tied to ascendancy points. Players shouldnt stress to finally get a token and hopefully not fail getting their 5/6 or 7/8 points. There is no challenge to this. The real challenge is testing our stress levels and making us depressed and punching our monitors.

There are some competing views on this but you just need to talk to enough players to know that there is overwhelming consensus that these trials are horrible and totally unfun. Chaos isn't so bad, but even that one asks too much by requiring that you continue to burden yourself with debuffs throughout 10 unfun floors, with only one shot at success or you're out. Talk about punishing players.

Of course, the Sekhema trials are not even worth commenting on. With a good build anyone can eventually make it through the 10 trials with effort, but having to do it without getting hit and losing honor is probably the single worst design decision in this game. I don't know what you guys were thinking, it feels like you are drowning in your enjoyment of the reputation for hardass gameplay, casuals need not apply.

I have all my ascension points but my wife doesn't and I can't carry her, so she no longer plays. Thanks for that.

I just started Ultimatum recently and found him yesterday. Ya, not fun, instant gib even though I hit dodge immediately.
