I wont really have opinion on either PoE2 ascendancy systems before trying and seeing how they are balanced, although not really fan of either in PoE1.
On other hand i will miss Labyrinth purely because of aesthetics it had, if nothing else went right, i would run labyrinth and enjoy atmosphere and Izaro voice lines. Also i kinda understand why it wasn't first class citizen of PoE1 content to get dragged into 2, as it would need big revamp from new movement system and pacing alone, but i'm hoping it returns in some form of loot carrier / player secondary power-up source. |

Personally, I see Ultimatum/Sanctum as reasonable tradeoffs (as someone who doesn't really mess with them in PoE1).
GGG gives me 3 acts, most of the ascendancies, and a robust Endgame for Early Access launch, in return I deal with the slog/BS of Ultimatum/Sanctum. It's a fair tradeoff compared to other ARPG launches. Dernière édition par Todje#2698, le 26 nov. 2024 18:22:12

Absolutely agree, this gating Ascension behind a sanctum would only be enjoyable by masochists.
An I'm running a Melee build so sanctum is not a fun experience at all for first ascension and I know that is will immediately turn people away from wanting to play. I already have friends that don't want to play anymore because of this Thanks GGG |

yeah, the difficulty doesn't matter here. Sanctum is such a chore and super unfun. Please please please please replace this with something else

" Totally agree. Melee sucks so hard right now. The best warrior build is just totem spam and afk/run in circles. It takes so much more to complete the trial with this silly honor system as a melee character. |
