How much money have you wasted/spent on PoE?

1 - How much have you spent so far on the game?
Over a grand

2 - Do you think you've spent too much, too little or you're happy with what you've spent?
Happy with what I donated

3 - Will you buy some/more points at a later date?
Possibly, if the game is kicking for a decade as they plan? Sure.

4 - Was what you bought worth the cost?
Yep.

5 - What would you think if PoE started to provide pseudo game-changing purchasable content like complete respecs, chat/name badges or new map graphics?
complete respecs? no
Chat/name badges? Don't see the point.. but sure.
New map graphics? those will be added for free.

2. Given it appears I have run out of steam with the game and am on the verge of quitting, yes I'm happy.

3. Unlikely.

4. n/a

5. More options are always good. Including Full Respec. So I'd be perfectly fine with it. The lack of simple things like this, among other pig-headed decisions the devs seem intent to make, are the reason I have spent nothing and am quitting soon.

Rofl, you just gave the perfect example of why GGG should NEVER sell their souls and cater to players like yourself. You haven't given them anything except your constant whine about how things SHOULD be (in your casual dreams). Also, you've said like 10 times already that "I'm quitting", yet still here you are, day after day (whining).
Now you are quitting for good? Perfect. The sooner the better.

1 - How much have you spent so far on the game?
45$ (~35€)

2 - Do you think you've spent too much, too little or you're happy with what you've spent?
I'm perfectly happy with the amount I spent.

3 - Will you buy some/more points at a later date?
I believe I will.

4 - Was what you bought worth the cost?
Definitely. As a soloing, non-trading player I really appreciate all the premiun stash tabs I have now.

5 - What would you think if PoE started to provide pseudo game-changing purchasable content like complete respecs, chat/name badges or new map graphics?
Out of those 3, I'm only against buying respecs, because to me it means p2w.
1 - How much have you spent so far on the game?
$1,035.00

2 - Do you think you've spent too much, too little or you're happy with what you've spent?
I'm glad to have the opportunity to support GGG in this way as well as get in on what is, to me, a once in a lifetime experience.

3 - Will you buy some/more points at a later date?
I'm not sure yet.

4 - Was what you bought worth the cost?
Sure! I wouldn't have spent it otherwise.

5 - What would you think if PoE started to provide pseudo game-changing purchasable content like complete respecs, chat/name badges or new map graphics?
I'd be extremely upset if anything remotely P2W was released. I don't see that happening though unless the company changes owners some time down the road.
$40.

I bought premium stash tabs, skeleton skins to make them stone hotties, and have a teeny bit left over.

A few points

1. The reason I gave nothing is specifically because they DIDN'T listen to their customers. Had they "sold their souls" (lol @ the hyperbole) they would probably have had at least 50 bucks from me. So surely I am the perfect example of why they should sell their souls? The fact they didn't cost them money. Shrug.

2. I have never once stated I was quitting till now. Show me one post where I did, or else look like a tit. There is no endgame, and I leveled enough characters to 60+ to know I don't want to do it again. I have also discovered a very similar, but much better game, to move onto to for my loot fix. But either way, this is the first time I've ever mentioned quitting.

3. If it's worth anything, YOU and those like are very much part of the reason I am quitting. Worst, most rabid and backward-thinking, change-fearing fanboy base I've ever seen in a game. Grats.

Doesn't really feel like quitting as such. I may change my mind. I specifically enjoy playing FREE and taking up server resource, while silly fanboys PAY for me to do so. Feels really nice and I might miss that. Thanks!
Did you know level 91 is the halfway point to level 100? This means that a softcore character dying ONCE at level 85+ can lose many days of progress.

1 - How much have you spent so far on the game?

20$

2 - Do you think you've spent too much, too little or you're happy with what you've spent?

If I could, I would give more. Can't give what I don't have ^^

3 - Will you buy some/more points at a later date?

If I don't lose interest in the game. It's a little problematic right now, given the economic situation on default really annoys me. Might switch to HC to save myself, but I'm an altoholic. That means I love having leveling gear for my new characters, to have a smooth ride. Losing that is a big deal, starting from scratch really annoys me.

4 - Was what you bought worth the cost?

Absolutely. Some skill effects are really cool, enjoying them a lot. Stash tabs are always a good investment as well.

5 - What would you think if PoE started to provide pseudo game-changing purchasable content like complete respecs, chat/name badges or new map graphics?

They could do that, I wouldn't pay for it anyway. I love the fact, that you have no easy respecc. As mentioned, I'm an altoholic, so I plan to reroll all the time anyway :P I sell regrets, never used one, never will.
The other stuff doesn't even make sense to me.
If some things like respec would be worth a lot to some, I guess I would be fine in having it in the game. More funds for the game can only be good. And I don't see how it would be an unfair advantage. It should be pricey, though. Not that you can spec completely different for every stage of the game, just to make it easier (like skilling chaos resist for when you need it, just switch from melee to ranged for a certain time because it benefits you, etc.). Of course *really* rich people still could. But when you're rich nowadays, you always have the upper hand. They could also just let their butlers do the grinding for them while they sleep etc :P

2. happy

3. yes

4. yes

5. very bad idea
1. $100 USD.
2. Happy.
3. Yes. Can't ever have too many stash tabs. :-P
4. Yes.
5. I wouldn't call 'new map graphics' game changing. GGG has stated they will never be pay to win so this is a non-issue for me.

1. About $55.
2. Happy. I want to give more, and I have the money to do so (I would have bought Diamond in a heartbeat if I wanted to but owing to circumstances I do not wish to post about, I can't give GGG as much money as I want to.)
3. Definitely. Planning on getting another $20 worth this week if possible.
4. Totally worth it!
5. I don't really care. As long as the game stays alive long enough for me to play, I will always be happy. GGG bros for life <3

Best regards.
