On Pure Evasion
Best viable defense for melee = Armor/evasion/block/endurance charges, nothing wil beat this combo in any single way... and yeah evasion rocks and is underapreciated.
If u asume a fight where u wil get 1 hit out of 5, and as a melee u are surounded by 5 mobs, u wil have evaded 20/25 attacks, if that aint a massive survivability added to ure melee char then W T F? Also when u block ure evasion deminishing has been reset so u could effectively evade forever if u block every "hit" that passes ure evasion scales. Just my added love for evasion right there... Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes

Probably most people you talked to have no idea how evasion is rolled in this game.

Pure evasion is good, but problem is that it comes with no mitigation for magic attacks, unlike armor. 20% magic dodge is a necessity for this build (which sucks - the necessity, not the ability),, so it took me almost 20 turns just to beat Merveil on normal difficulty. You have to get that as soon as possible to even be viable.

that is not true..evasion is great if you can get 10k+ while doing 66 67 maps and around 14k+ while doing 70 maps
i have video of my pure evasion shadow face tanking all merciless bosses with some blue gears ( yes i said it, blue gears ) and now running maps.. problem with evasion would be acrobatic..they should combine acrobatic into 2 nodes phase acro and acrobatic for 30 % dodge Dernière édition par fortispectus#0920, le 4 avr. 2013 à 15:18:32
