[Bug] Something is seriously wrong with loot (resolved with 0.10.7)

Decided to spend some time to get definite proof there is a major bug with this and I finally got it. Bellow you will find 5 videos of merciless Kole kills all with the same quantity/rarity. The first 4 videos show him drop exactly the same amount of drops (14) and the last shows him drop an awesome amount of 3 drops.

So theres your proof that something is definitely wrong and why I assume its space related. Neon, I honestly have no freaking idea what more I can do to help you out. If theres anything more I can do please let me know.

Didn't Culling strike used to be bugged where your IIQ didn't register until a couple patches ago? Maybe it's still not working properly in some instances?

Lot of summoners use culling strikes, could be why summoners seem to notice this bug more. Not saying it's what happening or that it's not space related just throwing it out here.

Well my suspicion is there is a bug with iiq/iir but before I can go into that I will need this bug fixed first. Until all loot is there, theres no way to get any meaningful results by testing.

In terms of the videos I posted, even with 0% quantity you should get 7 drops. So if it was just a iiq/iir/culling bug there should have been 7 drops, not 3. 3 drops points to environmental issues. And one more thing, I just cba to respec back to full summoner. You can see in the videos the only summoner passive I have is the one close to the start of the tree for 1 extra zombie + skelleton.

If any summoner with most/all of the summoner bubbles could perform a few kills like the bug video (basically leaving no room around Kole or any other unique for that matter) it would be awesome to see/read your results. Because if my suspicions are correct you will be getting 0 loot.

Lastly, I am not saying that IIQ/IIR/Culling are not misbehaving at certain circumstances, I am saying that right now theres absolutely no way to test this since loot will be lost due to environment issues.

im not using culling strike, i use spell totem with summon skelleton and i see just the same issue as Boned was pointing out here and showed in the films.

skelletons/minions take up room and prevent items dropping. it is as easy as that, nothing more to think about.

no need to further testing as the first problem have already been discovered.

solution suggestion (no idea if any could work but throwing it out there):
1. make items not needing their own space=they can stack or something like that.
2. make bosses/mobs drop a chest or something u can loot from /atleast in solomode).
3. make minions not "take up space" from the loot.
4. threat loot and minions/champs/enemies as seperate "dimension" where they dont affect eachother.


all that is needed now is someone at the coorp aknowledging it and saying it will be fixed and give an eta

the issue here for me is not that its happening, its beta, there will be buggs, the issue for me is that ppl are blaming culling strike and lots of other issues whitch it may also be, but for my part its 100% clear that my spell totem with skelletons is "stealing" my loot.
as i play mostly solo this has a huge impact as i need those skelletons for "tanking" hard mobs.

Don't kill mobs close to walls.


Also I am wondering why it gets a dev response now. This has been reported several times in CB so I supposed it was known.

That begs me to wonder how many maps I lost as drops in maps such as Tunnel, Underground River etc, where you can't not kill mobs next to walls.

hello all ,

im a summoner and feel the same "space related" drop issue. So i tested it myself at hailrake Mericless , its a open Map so there is Plenty of "space to drop" done hailrake on excel sheet.

13 times he dropped 90 items in all runs ,

1 time 10 items
2 times 9 items
3 times 8 items
3 times 7 items
1 time 6 items
0 times 5 items
2 times 4 items
1 times 3 items


the reason for the runs with the excel sheet was a hailrake "bug drop" with 2 items
pics can be seen here but due no response i didnt chased it further thx community

as summoner i watch it at "solaris temple 3" where the 3 unique banners are and 1 of them drop less(nothing at all) then other 2 , happens pretty often.

TO PREVENT THIS space loot bug

What i did was NOT casting the sekle totem since it takes away alot of "loot space"
u can watch it sometimes when u have skele and zombies up that the loot drop outside the "minion swarm" .
