Well, playing your build is stress free... but figuring out how to plant my sacred grove is enough to drive me to drink.

What were they thinking?

Wrecker.... do you have any links or instructions on how to setup a simple stress free sacred grove?

Update

Found this video... last 5 mins was helpful

Ha ha! Nah Yipp, I don't have the guide. But like you linked, there are some good ones out there.

The league itself doesn't really interest me. But the core changes are amazing!

Thanks for the link.

When we start being Gladiator, what do take 1st? Pain Forged or Arena challenger?
Hey Desperation, the passive tree section has that info for you. Here it is to save you the time:

"You can spend your points in any order you like. My preference is as follows (defense first):
- 1st Two Points - Painforged. Busy little guy. You get block chance if you didn't block a hit, extra damage if did block, you can't be stunned if you blocked a hit (that's a biggie), but sexiest of all...your counter attacks (Riposte, Reckoning, and Vengeance) deal double damage :).
- 2nd Two Points - Versatile Combatant. This node fixes our spell block chance. With this node, our block chance for spells always equals our attack block chance. Our max spell block chance also increases with the max attack block chance.
- 3rd Two Points - Violent Retaliation. Lots of goodies here. This increases our maximum chance to block from the normal 75% cap to 79%, we get increased Physical Damage for each block in the last 10 seconds (bonus damage while clearing), lots of damage if we've blocked damage from a Rare or Unique enemy in the past 10 seconds (good for boss battles), and additional block chances for each block we've done in the last 10 seconds.
- 4th Two Points - Arena Challenger. This skill revolves around Challenger Charges which can only be earned with this node. Challenger Charges improve your attack and movement speed by 2% per node, capping at 10 nodes (20%). This is the skill that simplifies the Blood and Sand aura set. IF you care to switch between those auras/stances and guarantee your 10 Challenger Charges, use Sand Stance to kill Normal and Magic enemies, and Blood Stance to kill Rare and Unique enemies."

Thank you Wrecker for your nice guides. I never managed to get to more than t5 maps, no matter what build I tried (only tried your RF build last season). But it seems so simple the way you explain things, so hopefully this time I will get to a t10 map. I really hope to complete a lot of season achievements to get those cosmetic rewards.

Do you (or anyone) have any recommended unique items for your Trigger Happy build?
I'm not playing SSF, so I expect to be able to get a few cheap uniques.

Thank you again.
Hey duggersen!

Thanks for your thanks and kindness! I hope you get lots of rewards! Good luck!

In regards to uniques, I saw some people posting last league some cool shields with block perks. I also saw some linked posts of some uniques with the triggers skills in the unique themselves! I'd check out the list of Unique shields. I think that'd be your easiest bet. Probably the cheapest too since everyone is going 2-handers.

Thanks again!

Maybe Magna Eclipsis Pinnacle Tower Shield with +2 to socketed gems will be good for us since we will socked our auras there,Great Old One's Ward for some dmg increase,Lioneye's Remorse for some jucy life and armor or the ultimate The Surrender Ezomyte Tower Shield for that life on block + 30lvl reckoning.Idealy i think some special modes shield will be goal for end game,% life when block + chance to block etc.
Hey,

does counterattacks skills proc exerted attacks from various warcries? I tried it but the exerted attacks on skill panel doesnt change and i have no idea if for examble reckoning gets double damage from intimidating cry?

Thanks
I just want to say your filters are awesome so are your guides. I do have one question if pride blood and stone and sand and stone are linked you only have to activate one of them then they are all activated correct? So am kinda new here.
Keep up the great work! You are sooo helpful for newbies like me3>
Thanks so much for all of these guides!
I really like the playstyle, and they're interesting to use.
One question about the Bladestorm block build though..
I'm finding it very squishy against certain enemies - most notably I was having a lot of trouble with Innocence - could this have been because of the lack of spell block until we can get more ascendancy points?

Thanks!
You need to manually activate all your buffs, making them linked won't do anything. Therefore you need to use pride, sand and blood and stone if you want them working, just using one won't automatically activate the others.

While I am not using the build on this league, I can confirm that the lack of spellblock makes early game difficult, that and DoT. So try to avoid that sort of damage as much as possible-As constant damage does go through your defenses easily-Aka Innocence's ray. That and invest some on elemental defense, it is pretty important to be able to take hits better, especially on that part of the game and forward.

Hey xprimalfuryx!

I'm not sure. In terms of Tags, yes, it would apply to Reckoning because it's a Melee Attack and Intimidating Cry Exerts Melee Attacks. BUT there is an inconsistency with Trigger rules in PoE. If I have a build where Cast when Damage Taken triggers Ball Lightning for me, it doesn't count as ME casting it. But when it comes to these Counter-Attack skills, they aren't dependent on another gem to trigger it. So I'm not actually sure if the Counter Attacks count as US doing the skill or not. If I can't find the answer I'll post on the forums and see if GGG answers.
