Exp Loss is freaking unbalanced

no: I think you, undon3 and aintcare should start a guild together, call it the 3 amigos. You all have 1 thing in common, you're not willing to learn anything, you stick to your guns about your "perceptions" regardless of whatever facts are thrown your way and you all certainly need to man up , shut __, and realize when you're "wrong".

admitting you're wrong is 1/2 the battle, and the best thing about it is: you never have to be wrong about X again (assuming you can handle remembering it).

Its pretty obvious you never gotten above level 85 in PoE, and died, which is the game we are talking about

The exp loss in PoE is 3x higher, I am also completely disregarding other relevant factors (like how much easier its to get killed in PoE)

Levelling in D2 was pretty much irrelevant at 80+, after that all progression was basically loot

I have done both. Leveled to 98 multiple times in D2, never complained about dieing... got frustrated? yes. motivated? yes. I have leveled above 85 in PoE and have died (3 times on 85 at 90%....) did I complain about the death penalty? No, I played more carefully and made sure to not die again.

If leveling in D2 was pretty much irrelevant past 80+ then you can say the exact same thing about poe. Your build is typically complete by 65-70 and you can wear any item in the game by the early 70s. So wtf is your point? You feel the XP penalty is too high, we do not. You complain about it, we take action to avoid it. We feel it is designed well for the very same reasons you feel it is flawed. There will never be a common ground as long as you feel that default league should essentially be a scrubcore league where you can die left and right and continue to progress.

Can't wait for you to deflect the actual arguments with semantics... enjoy living in your little bubble where everything you say and do is correct.
