Arctic Armour
Looks like an "Oh shit, flicker strikers!" button to me. May be worth keeping one around to swap just for that ( at least for us non-armor users ). This and a granite may make flicker just tickle instead of beat face in.

" They are I can't stand using Enduring Cry anymore and the only other skill that gives you defense is determination, which is not all that good. I wish we could get a skill that gives you more defense on attacks or determination would give a flat rate of armor instead of a percentage. Better yet why is Enduring Cry the only charge that you cannot obtain on hit like Power Charge and Frenzy. |

" Enduring Cry is like free charges. o.O |

Yeah I guess your right if you use Warlords Mark, but it would be nice to have enduring cry on hit maybe from one of the new unique items. I honestly don't like using curses all that much just because I have to cast is so often and most of the time people are just casting over each others curses. Doesn't mean I don't ever use them though |

" How much mana regen % from nodes/gear do you have? I somehow used up 3 witches worth of this quest, and nobody responded in $trade when I spammed a little, so I haven't even been able to test at all. My melee witch build takes me to the +45% skill duration nodes right by a cluster of 3x 20% regen, so I might try to work those in if it means being able to run higher levels Armour. |

Increased Duration has no purpose being on this ability... It's an aura you turn on and off. The duration really means nothing at all whatsoever.
However, this skill... I love it when it works, and I play a CI melee Shadow. But the problem I'm having is pretty huge... If an enemy you're attacking desyncs - as I said in my previous post - then your character goes off on an invisible chase that you don't even see yourself doing, and the next thing you know, your mana is empty and all you were doing was attacking in place. |

The duration on the skill is the duration of the ice patch you leave trailing behind you.
Due to the 0.5s cast time, it's extremely viable to turn it on in dangerous situations and not move, then turn it off again when you're ready to move. Yes, using it with Cloak of Flames works (very well). At high levels, you are completely immune to voidbearers and tentacle miscreations, so it's definitely worth trying to use for that alone. If you want the ice-patch effect, leaving it at level 1 is the best option. |
