Lower Graphic Settings for old computers
Hi
I was wondering if GGG has any plans to provide low graphic settings for old low end computers? After playing a while it really heats my computer and if I am in a group it becomes much worse. PS: Even games like bioshock/crysis etc do not heat my computer this much |

Ya, I would like this as well as sometimes I play on my laptop and it was overheating and shutting down quite a bit.

" That sounds weird... whats your spec? Sounds like some kind of compatible problems. PoE should run fine on most potatoes and toasters Above content may contain traces of nonsense.
Reality is simply an unrealistic version of online gaming. |

" Are you playing on a laptop? |

The oddity of my laptop overheating issue is that I played TERA without overheating. This game really utilizes the computer.

I wouldn't mind some lower res textures or something.
Although nothing will come in time to help me out, using my laptop for a week while I'm visiting my parents house. My laptop was swanky about 4 years ago, Nvidia 8600M + 4GB RAM etc, but to play PoE im forced to go for bad resolutions (1024 x 768*)! BOOOO! Plays SC2 fine on low settings and other games, lowering graphics to have a good resolution would be nice (native on this machine is 1280 x 800*). * I guessed the resolutions, sorry if I got them wrong, they are close enough Dernière édition par adwodon#5314, le 9 avr. 2012 à 12:23:42

" Yes I am also playing on a laptop and it shuts down from overheating. But the problem is that I can play much more graphically challanging games than PoE |

I was routinely hitting 80C+ until I read a suggestion to turn VSYNC on. I tried it and now my temps don’t go above 45C.
