Skitterbots are awesome!!
With infernal legion you can see a lot better where they are and they burn all bad guys fast. Not a lot of damage but you just want all the ailments on them for the explosives expert buffs.

Where to get mana for bots? And why they reserve 49% with me, it should be 35.

You only reserve skitterbots. No other aura.
And you have 49% reserved because it is linked to some supports.
So the new meta is use skitterbots and drop HoI and wrath? Is it better?
Well, Stupid-bot is not so awesome as you think when you lvl up and start mapping red maps and do end-game content. The ailment you need for more dps is shock, which gives about 40~50% more dmg. You always have your enemy shocked without skitterbot because your effective crit chance is more than 70% or 80% in my build and BL hits enemies so many times per sec.

Other ailments don't really help unless you change your setting to get some benefits from them (which is little though) But you don't really need them because you already have DPS to one-shot mons you see in my setting (Refer to video killing mino.)

If you utilize skitter bot with aura supports, You get 43% mana reserved even with enlighten + wrath (50%) = you only have 7% mana left, which means you cannot throw 23 mines to one-shot red map bosses and kill minotaur brothers guardians within 1-3 sec to survive. (You need to kill fast otherwise you will be killed by bosses. you should never forget that your char has low life)

So, the conclusion is, you can enjoy stupid-bot for clearing act and stuff, but you cannot stand its uselessness in end-game for many reasons. And, dying a lot in red maps with bad rolls or hydra, mino, chim and phoenix makes the concept of my build off the road.

As for Skitter-infernal legion combination, I've used it for ignite based miner with proper gear setting. Stupid-bot with aura supports does not help much in ignite build as well. (That's why I call it stupid-bot and useless)

I am currently busy working on other builds, not being able to answer your questions quickly and take part in your fun discussion. I will come and check more often when I am done with them.

Thanks for your comments.

It might help in early lvl-up stage, but you will soon find stupid-bot useless when you start dealing with real mons in end game.

@aquasnow93 : I hope this answers your question.

I don't think they are as bad as you state here. I'm not a math expert but let's have a look at some figures and other mechanics which may make them more appealing than you'd think.

Wrath = 21% more flat spell damage
Skitter Bots = 10% more mine damage

Difference is 11% more damage in favor of wrath while wrath is conserving 50% mana vs 35% for unlinked skitterbots. (not taking into account any reductions to mana reservation)

When linking infernal legion to the skitterbots they will be burning enemies so the 30% critical strike multiplier of explosives expert kicks in. You can't compare crit multiplier with either "increased" or "more" damage but the 30% crit multiplier works like this if I understood correctly:

A normal crit does 150% damage so on a base hit of 1000 you will do 1500 damage.
Let's say you have 300% crit multiplier from tree and gear so that means 150 + 300 = 450% for a total hit of 1000 * 4.5 = 4500. By adding 30% crit multiplier from the burn + ascendancy the base crit hit becomes: 150 + 330 = 4800

From 4500 to 4800 is about 6.7% higher. As you said, crit chance is 70 - 80% so lets average that to 75% so... 6.7 * 0.75 = 5% more damage. Big disclaimer for my math but if this is true the difference between wrath and skitterbots is down to 6%. Because of infernal legion the mana multiplier is now 35% * 1.3 = 45,5% vs 50% of wrath.

But there is more...
Skitterbots chill and shock mobs BEFORE you hit them. This means the first Ball Lightning hit will do more damage and potentially causing a higher shock % of that hit. Besides this, the base shock of the bots is always 20% while they also give an increased shock effect.

Ball Lightning does not do huge amounts of damage per hit, it's strength is many hits (every 150ms) per ball. Shock % is based on the amount of damage you do per hit. The super bosses and guardians all have a very big HP pool which means the shocks of the relatively low damage Ball Lightning hits will not give a high shock % on them. This means that the flat 20% increased damage taken from the bots will be higher than any BL hit can achieve. The Wiki says the current Shaper has about 18.000.000 HP so you would need a 36.000 BL hit to MINIMALLY shock him. I don't know the scaling of Shock but the max is 50% increased damage taken when doing a hit of 10% so you'd need a BL hit of 1.8mio to get the max shock which will obviously never happen. If the scaling is even, then a 10% shock would require a hit of 360.000 which I don't think a single BL lash will do.

I believe that the shocks caused by a BL hit will be a few % at max. 5% increased damage taken from BL shocks vs. a flat 20% increase damage taken caused by the bots will more than make up for the remaining 6% more damage in favor of Wrath.

Again, if anyone sees a flaw in my math please correct me.

Currently I am running:
Skitterbots + infernal legion
Level 1 Precision
Herald of Ice

This gives me enough free mana to throw all mines. I will be exploring further looking to combine Skitterbots + Wrath in the end. This should be possible without infernal legion for sure. With that you probably need a high level enlighten linked to all.

This is a simple but great idea to drop wrath and use skitterbot! I haven't compared dps gap between wrath and skitterbot in precise calculation yet, but I am pretty sure skitterbot gives more dps than wrath. If wrath, not HoI, is replaced by skitterbot, you will not have mana problem that I worried about. I will calculate exact dps from wrath and skitterbot and how big the gap is after I'm done with maxing out FB miner and update my build guide.

As for your calculation, I will have to calculate myself and see if your calculation is correct.

Sometimes people overlook a simple but big thing which is right in front of them. All I thought of was Hoi vs. skitterbot, not wrath vs. skitterbot. You made me compromise with those little shit bots, too. :)

But not to make people confused, without dps benefit from skitter bots, shaper isn't a problem at all. It already has one-shot dps for one phase with wrath + hoi setting although your input is more than valuable.

Thanks a lot for your great comment!

Thank you for a great build!
I wanted to do a mine build this league and this is a great one :)

Some more things to consider:

I bought a 2ex (pretty much all I gather so far) chest and with that I am now at 5k hp already. I am still wearing some random levelling items so I think somewhere near 5.5k should be possible with further upgrades. That should make you a little less prone to one-shots while DPS is still fine.

I'm not sure about the leech gloves. You lose power charges quickly while I barely notice the hp flowing in. For now I'm using gloves with hp.

For more defense you can use a shield instead of dual wielding wands. Not sure if that is better but you can have a shield with low ES and a good life roll since you don't really want ES.

Chaos resistance is a bit of a thing.... Going to try and get some on my gear as the plantlike shooting mobs in Alva's incursion sometimes instagib me.

Thanks again for this build, it's great fun. I wish I could play more but real life is busy :)

I am planning to update my build with more hp and dps version soone. But I am now working on FB Miner which is crazier than BL miner when fully upgraded. :) Thanks again for your input.
1. Can you tell what affix should find in wands? (From most important to less)
2. Will it worth to take exlosives expert instead Demolition Specialist?
3. Mindfield or Swift Assembly better?
4. What different Blastchain and Hight Impact mine? What should i use?
Thank you

P/s:Sorry for my bad english.
