Well it would DEFINITELY NOT work with BF. I suppose it could work with lacerate. Perforate would work as mentioned.
Any physical, melee, aoe, non-channeling attack would work in some degree.

I suppose it really depends on what "work" means. Some attacks would work with a simple gem swap, others would need different supports and/or changes to the tree. But in practice you really need to try it out in-game it see how it feels. For example Sunder will work based on the gem tags but I really don't know how good it will be because I haven't actually tried it.

So if you want to find alternatives you need to look at the list of attacks and pick the ones that have similar tags as bladestorm. You don't need to have all of them (for example we don't scale the duration) but you do need to avoid things like projectiles or channeling. After you've selected the skills you like, try them out.

If you're asking for my opinion, I think it's obvious. I made this build with bladestorm. If I thought some other skill was better why would I do that?

A good way to start would be with a cheap 6link armour with 100+ life and resists. They should be pretty cheap by now.

I'm glad you like the build. The curse is your choice really. Enfeeble is the best defensive curse and vulnerability the best offensive. I would suggest getting a better helmet though. This one has very low life.

Really well formatted guide! Got to white maps and damage seems a bit low sometimes, maybe just too little crit chance for now. My tree is still messed up after respeccing but working on it.

Mana seems a bit rough to handle at the start of league when missing all the crafts, so Im still missing Blood&Sand and maim support from Flesh&Stone.

Saving up for the Maligaro's next and maybe intimidate Watcher's Eye. Still missing the uber lab and some big passives like Fatal and Brutal Blade.

Using Intimidating Cry as a damage booster and linked it to second wind (Dash there also).

Since you don't have enlighten 3 and all the -mana stuff you're better off using HoP and Maim with F&S instead of trying to fit in Pride. It won't matter much in white maps though.
When you have all the block nodes from the tree and you do Uber lab you can use just one block sword. That will help with damage.

Kudos to the build creator for a very fun build and well written guide. One question: I found Carnage Heart in SSF and it seems to be a good amulet even into mapping. What do you think of the item?
