Saviour is not only 240 dps. It is essentially 100% MORE damage since your reflection does 50% of your damage and there are two of them. I am running with a 540dps block sword so that 4.5m on pob should be around around 8m +/- with the reflections out since pob or the fork does not calculate saviour reflections.

Yeah so that's why I said 240 pdps savior might be close to 600 pdps jewelled foil. If you got 4.5m on pob and times that by 2 for savior reflection that's 9m. That is way more than what I'll ever achieve thru jewelled foil + surrender shield.

So if dual wielding sword + savior might be far superior damage wise than using a shield hmm.

Nice to see an alternate version of the build. Experimentation is half the fun.

The Saviour is not directly comparable to other swords as it massively increases your clear speed. In that regard there's nothing that can compare to it. As far as boss killing goes, I'd have to try it myself to see how it works in practice.

By the way (since we don't necessarily need block swords) a 2ex Paradoxica is a good and cheap choice for a second sword.

Yeah so I think that's how it is these days.

Dps and clear-speed ceiling for dual wielding is higher just because you can off-hand the saviour.

Any other combination of two swords, you can have an alternate version with sword and shield since shield nodes and dual wielding nodes are pretty much side by side (or on the path of each other).

Even if you lose some dps using shield, it balances out by having more life and the surrender is a whole another layer of defense -- and these days even single-wielding you can go up to 5+ mil bladestorm dps which trivializes most of the content.

Would you mind checking what I should upgrade next? This is by far the furthest i've ever gotten with a build and I'm still really enjoying it. While I have great survivability I notice that I probably need higher damage. What's the best way to achieve that?

I think a 500+ pdps sword would seem like a logical upgrade, though according to POB the dps increase isn't insane.

How much crit multi do you have? You're not using Maligaro's and I don't see any multi on your gear so you should be around 150 which is ridiculously low. Maligaro's would give you a ton of damage. Other than that big upgrades are swords and +1 bladestorm helmet enchant.

P.S. Everyone in the league seems to have the explodie mod on their chest. That would help with clear speed a lot.

P.S.2 Try the Saviour. It's something like 100c there. Damn,they're practically giving then away.

So I was already trying Maligaro's before but it causes me to lose about 250 hp and since I only have 15% crit change atm, I figured I need to get more crit change before it becomes really effective.

Explodie chest is definitely very meta right now, and I'm waiting for them to come down in price a bit. I also think my clearspeed is ok, its just in the bosses that I feel it lacking a bit.

I will try the Saviour, even though according to POB it significantly decreases my dps.

You may have 15% but the diamond flask alone should double that. Have you accounted for it?

Also regarding the Saviour, you're forgetting the clones. You're just seeing your own DPS but the two clones will double it. Well not exactly double but close.

P.S. The new PoB has a bug with Pride. I've reported it. For a description see:

Just updated to 1.4.170.5. I loaded a build that uses Pride and noticed the DPS is a lot lower than expected. In the configuration tab "Initial Effect" is by default selected for Pride but in the Calcs tab Pride does not appear in the debuffs as it should.
If I change the setting to "Maximum effect" and then back to "Initial" Pride starts working as expected, appears in the debuffs and the correct DPS is calculated.
If I save the build after that and then load it again Pride works as expected.
