One thing to keep in mind about this build, bladestorm doesn't seem to be a good skill for blight content(and probably for legion too)

Maybe lacerate would be a better choice for blight. Only minor changes are needed to build/gems

also, Scaeva Gladius might be a good sword for offhand, no?

Yes, Scaeva would be good as an offhand weapon. However all the socket bonuses are useless if you're using Maligaro's. Maybe the white socket one is good but hard to obtain. It's a cheap weapon though so worth using if you're on a budget.

Im using 2 of those atm. Bought them for 40 chaos each. I have been waiting for some good rares to come up but I have a feeling its gonna be a while. The dps difference is definitely noticeable from prismatic eclipse.

Anyone having good clear on blight?

Last league I was playing cyclone, so I've started this league with it too, but dps was a lot lower now and survi on cyclone is a nightmare, so I swap to this build. Right now doing red maps on regular basis.

-dmg is noticably lower than cyclone.
+but you don't die all the time. I die really rarely, sometimes to blight bosses. But it is really rare situation.
-+clearspeed is not the best, but it is for sure acceptable.
+basic gear is really cheap.
+seems ok for uber lab farm.
+delves will be probably less stressful on this build.
+feels a bit better vs blight than cyclone, but in my opinion blight is just for ranged/summoners.
+I like how easy and fast it is to change stances for trash clearing and killing rares faster

My question is, what will give me biggest dps boost (without going into details about my gear)- rare swords instead of prismatic+scaeva? or going from 5L to 6L?

I have no idea. But it will take you 30 sec to check on PoB. Just copy one of my swords.
At this point in the game however it's probably much easier to get a cheap 6L than a good block sword.

Updated the weapons section a bit to help with leveling and budget gear.

Looking at POB

You can save a passive node if you take the one right next to iron reflexes.

What I will probably end up doing is skipping thick skin and continue to follow the dex nodes up to the branch for the swords nodes near Ranger to save a couple of passives(from where iron reflexes is)

Not sure I understand how you you can save a point. If you want to take vitality void, swagger and thick skin I don't see any other option. If you take the node you describe you save the one left of VV. No change in the total.
