[3.14] Gannicus, God of the Arena – Deathless Uber Elder for Everyone

The build is ready for 3.14. No changes other than what's already mentioned. See the first post for a recap. Also uploaded new PoBs (which are the same as the old PoBs but with precision turned off).
We'll see if that's enough or Maim also needs to be removed. PoB isn't yet updated with the new reservation values but that will be easy to test on standard when the league starts.

first of all, thanks for the awesome guide and build.
reading through all was fun and also a challenge, not gonna lie. completely new player and will be my first league ever, very hyped.

i just don't understand or can't find one thing: how can i craft -skill cost on jewelry and what are priorities in the passive skill tree? like it goes in many directions; do you got a lvl 20 40 60 80 version so i know where to start first/which nodes to get asap?

You have a mistake in your 3.14 changes. Versatile Stance cluster saves 4.5% reservation without englighten. In your gem setup you have level 3 enlighten on F&S but no B&S which results in 4.22% saved reservation. I think you forgot that it affects BOTH stances, not only F&S.

Also, reservation technically only costs 2 skill points. If you didn't value the notable.

You're right that it costs 2 points, the notable isn't needed. But I disagree on the rest. I know it affects both stances and wrote 4,5% in a message on the previous page. However when I enable it in PoB I get a 3% increase. You can try it yourself. In PoB's mana reservation section you can find the reasoning on how it's calculated.

It's a bench craft that you get at some point.

I don't have leveling trees as it's a hassle to maintain them. Also every player levels differently so there's no right way to do it. Just get some life then some damage and repeat. The only thing you should get quickly is the mana leech node.
Also at league start join a party and go fast. That's the easiest way of leveling.

When I say reservation hasn't updated I mean that F&S still reserves 25% and not 35%. Anyway I don't see why you get worked up about this. We'll see pretty soon who's right.
Also you comment about 107 pages of comments doesn't make any sense the way you phrased it. Care to rephrase?

Since the servers seem stable today I tested things on standard. Removing precision is not nearly enough. You definitely need to remove maim. Now since that opens up a socket linked to enlighten you socket B&S in there too.

With enlighten 4 I have 27 mana left (with precision active) with a skill cost of 17. This seems bad but the boot enchant immediately gets that down to 10 so it's fine. Remember that blocking a hit still counts as being hit so the enchant is active all the time. This is a 2,5% damage loss (in my case, your mileage may vary slightly).

If you want more mana you can always turn off precision too which takes you to around 50 unreserved mana for a total damage loss of 5%.

If you have enlighten 3 you (obviously) need to remove both precision and maim. This leaves you with around 20 unreserved mana with a skill cost of 10 (with boot enchant). Not ideal but still playable.

Until you can get all the gear to do all of the above (enlighten, boot enchant, mana reduction gear) you can remove some aura. Either use HoP instead of Pride or remove B&S or F&S depending on your mana needs.


P.S. Streamer priority REALLY sucks. Trying to give people a false impression that everything is going smoothly while giving a huge advantage for the entire league to certain players is completely unfair.

... makes you wonder is streamer drop rates isn't an urban legend after all....

Updated the gem section with the 3.14 changes. We have an empty socket (from the removal of Maim) so ... get ready for MORE DAMAGE.

Since we're not using Maim any more we have an empty socket which we can put to good use with an Ancestral Protector. 20% more attack speed is a huge damage boost and it is available all the time. No need to gather souls like with the Vaal Warchief. This gives us around 20% more damage which more than makes up for the 3% damage loss from Maim.

Since the Vaal Warcheif gives us +1 totems we can use both of them at the same time for maximum effect.

Also added an aura sub-section.
