Path of Exile Royale would be a definite success in 4.0.

Well shoot. 10k a day is way more than I was anticipating.... I thought it would just take a bit of development time from a handful of people. :/

People like to say that there's a flood of battle royals now days, but there's none that have even close to depth and customization that PoE has. Hopefully something that fills that niche will hit the market one day from somewhere.

Instead of spending an exorbitant amount of money to chase a royale fad, I would much rather look forward to the development of let's say a Path of Exile 2 using a different graphics engine.

There's not going to be a PoE2. Ever. They're constantly updating the current engine (just look at what models they're capable of building in the current engine compared to 4 years ago), that's where the development costs go.

If I eat everyone else's pie quickly enough, can they be disqualified for not presenting a pie? This seems like by far the most delicious way to win a pie-baking contest.

Aw sorry did you not manage to get any rhoa dinners? Poor you.

I only got one but none of my deaths in the other 15 attempts were "offscreen". It's not like you can set up some kind of GMP tornado shot at level 7--projectiles from that far away are dodgeable even if the enemy has quill rain. Royale was a fair game. Not a balanced game, it was entirely a natural consequence that ranged attacks were by far superior to melee and close-range spells, but fair.

That is the only April Fools joke they are sorry for now! LOL
