can u re/upload pls

i want to try this build tnks :D

and what about bandit? 2 point or help oak

Hi, Sorry I was away in between betrayal and Synthesis :)

I would kill all bandits as you don't need any of the bandits rewards IMO.

Fixed the pastebin link. Thanks @ valet2valet

Nathan Walker showcased this build as one of his top 7 league starters.

Since your build requires specific unique items, does anybody know a SSF version of warchieftain ? Can't find any and I don't even know if this build is viable in SSF or SSF HC (which I play). Thanks in advance !

looks like u can farm the brutus sprinkler from div cards
https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Brutus%27_Lead_Sprinkler
thats only required item really.

------------

Can we get this guide updated for 3.6 ?
looks like only impact to this build was loreweave/tombfist small nerf

also - for the support gems linked to ancestral warchief:
How is it that gems like ruthless or meelee damage support increase the damage that much when most of the raw damage we use in this build is raw fire damage from brutus.

doesn't that mean those above mentioned support gems would only increase total damage a small percentage since we dont have that much raw meelee damage to start before conversion ?

just trying to understand thanks

I plan on playing this build as my league started. I think the mapping on it is pretty smooth with multiple totems and the gear needed to do most content is extremely cheap.
plus then if you want faster mapping you could switch over to chiefton ele hit rat after

Had a few messages on forum about this build. As I am still learning the new skill tree, I will try to update this for 3.6 patch.

Ruthless and damage on full life support both affects ALL melee damage, not just the FIRE damage. The melee physical damage support however, only affects the PHYSICAL damage.

This build is still going on strong for 3.6, especially for hardcore, it is very tanky. I myself will most likely not league start as this.

Let me update the pob to reflect the 3.6 changes.

Thanks a lot for your support guys!

EDIT:

POB tree is updated for 3.6

Don't worry so much about gear in POB. It is pretty shitty (spent like 4ex total along with the loreweave). It is amazingly and surprisingly cheap for the power it provides.

GL with synthesis guys!

The benefit of dual wielding sprinklers (10% more attack speed, 15% more phys dmg) cant compare to the benefit of wearing a shield.

Armor, life, +1 totem

doesn't the "adds 4 to 7 fire damage to attacks " part stack too

That mod is local. When you dw, you alternate mh then oh.
Any possibility of having some sort of "leveling tree" or pathing help? Also how does this compare to Champion AW ?

dejuventate can probably give more detailed info but:

I did this build as league starter

I lvled comfortably even with only (2) 4 links for warchief/protector - completed act 10.
Buy Brutus asap and it makes lvling much easier.
lvl 38 lets you use mult totems with protector (4 totems total)

For passives:
- Get resolute technique first ( shortest path via life starter nodes or dmg if you prefer that)
- Got ancestral bond ~lvl 30
- I chose to get Avatar of fire shortly after Ngamahu (ascendancy) for 100% fire
- Filled out templar nodes for dmg/life as needed
- headed south towards blood magic/lava lash after that getting life/dmg as needed.
- I got blood magic whenever I felt ready for it (you will lose dmg from no heralds/auras but gain lotsa life/QoL)
- Next I went for duelist nodes - Art of gladiator / golem's blood.
-Then backfilled for jewels or anything else i missed.
- finally went for scion life wheel / resist nodes.

After playing this build more I actually do not use multiple totems on Ancestral warchief for mapping anymore - i only swap out conc effect for Inc area of effect gem. mapping is still fast because you can still layout 5 totems as you go .
