Build looks great! I'm fairly new and have never used a vaal skill before, would the build still function alright if I used the normal spark gem instead of the vaal version?

Want to start with this build tomorrow :)
Im aware that i must use other skill until I buy soul catcher and craft some vall skill dagger to get going. Any suggestion whats would be easiest way to level with at league start to make some chaos to respec to vaal spark? | |

I'm also going to start with a PF tomorrow so I can respec into a Soul Catcher build after the first couple of days. I'm actually thinking of playing VSC over spark though right now since it's a little easier on the framerate haha.
I'm currently thinking I'll level as "generic spell -> crit spell" build since the trees are so similar (presumably Arc will still be the best for this). Interested in hearing what others have planned. I have HoAg/RoA in the back of my mind too since its such a free leveling build (no gear or tree requirements) but I just hate the idea of trying to fill out my atlas on Saturday with HoAg "speed" lol. @iRa38 do you intend to leaguestart as ranger or will you roll a new character once you've filled out your atlas a bit and banked some cash? | |

Can you make a uptade version the Tree and gems?
Really looking foward to make this build (loved spark at first sight), but i'm kinda new (only been playing for a month) so i dont what to do with the differences in the tree's for systhesis league. | |

Updated the tree Also i would recommend you starting out with storm brand. And first do all the atlas shit and so on with this build. https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2299346 It should be overall much cleaner lvling and content clearing before you get your mandatory gear for vaal spark.
