[3.5] CheeQu's CoC Ice Nova Assassin - Up to 7m Shaper DPS + Amazing Clearspeed [In-Depth Guide]
Thx for this well writen Guide and this wonderful Build.
Rushed in 2 days to Lvl 75 and having lots of fun. I also would like to add some levelling advice myself for the time when the build reaches Level 40+. Untill the 64 / 68 its hard to maintain the pace of levelling with only lowlevel uniques. So I used the following to get more DMG and survivability: Those were really helpful. |

" Hey mrpetrov, after reading through the last 20 odd pages of this thread to catch up on what people are doing, I've noticed you've gone a slightly different route. Do you have a PoB link for your set up just so I can see figures and get some more details? Trying to compare the use of Anger to Aspect of the Spider and all that on my PoB is resulting in a lot of back and forth. On another note, after changing bits and pieces of my build for ages, I decided to take it to Uber Elder, managed to instantly put Elder and Shaper into their invulnerability phases each time they came out. First time since Elemental Hit was initially reworked that I've been able to do that. |

Got any advice for the next upgrades I can get? Was thinking about finding a way to fit aspect of the spider on one of my rings, or swapping to 40% ice nova damage on helm. Thanks so much for the build guide, it's been super fun playing this, just not sure where to take it from here. IGN: Chumbah (Warbands)

Is there a reason why you don't take anihilation on the tree? Seeing as it has multi and crit and its only 3 nodes I wonder if you leave it for the 97-100 3 points or you just forgot about it. Or maybe you think it's enough dps and you went for more defenses idk. Just wondering

This build can run up to t15 maps without Pandemonius?

" Spell crit chance is capped, so that's 3 points for just 15 crit multi. You can spend those 3 points for a jewel slot and get more multi + 7% life. |

after read commends.what does this build setup change?.im so confused

" in pob my Cyclone Attack Rate is 3.59 and become 4.13 with Onslaught (Kiara's Flask) flask is usefull or i must stay below 3.8 ? |
|
So i breezed to lvl 90 without any problems. I just tinkered with my tree and gems to reach 3,7ias without onslaught. Would that be the optimal speed.
My gear atm. Also would it be beneficial to change Gift to mark of shaper for dps? |

" Sure, that's very true. Ill leave some more interesting math for more thinking: The life leech gem has the 50% increased life leeched per second property. That means that with leech from this gem you need 10 / 1.5 = 7 hits to cap your 20% max life leech rate, whereas with normal leech you need 10 hits. From the "leech from everything" method (your method) you generate 33.25 leech instances per second (7.5 cyclone, 15 main ice nova, 3.25 frostbolt, 7.5 secondary ice nova). So against single target you can cap your leech rate in 10 / 33.25 = 0.396 sec (gets rounded up to meet with cyclone hit) or in 3 Cyclone hits. From the "leech from cospris" method you generate 10.75 leech instances per second (3.25 frostbolt, 7.5 secondary ice nova). So against single target you can cap your leech rate in 7 / 10.75 = 0.66 (gets rounded up to meet with a cyclone hit) or in 5 Cyclone hits. Now let's include LGoH from watchers eye to the cospri leech method and calculate leech for 3 cyclone hits to compare with the leech from everything method: 3 hits with cyclone with the leech from cospri method will generate on average 4.5 (1.5 Frostbolt, 3 Ice Nova) x 1.5 = 6.75 leech instances. That's 13.5% of max life regen per sec. Adding the 30 LGoH: In 3 cyclone hits we hit a total of 13.5 times (3 cyclone, 6 main ice nova, 1.5 Frostbolt, 3 secondary Ice Nova). 13.5 x 30 = 405 life or if we assume 6200 life, it's 405 / 6200 = 6.5% of max life. Combining those two we get; 13.5 + 6.5 = 20% of life. So funnily enough (didnt know this before reaching this point in the post) both setups will regen the same amount of life with 3 cyclone hits in the course of a second. (things get weired if you calculate beyond or for sooner than one second). So with this new info, the added benefit of LGoH reaching a max of 29% life regen per sec against the cap of 20% max life regen for plain leech makes this an easy choice for me from now on! (If there's a mistake in the numbers point it out but I think it's right.) Dernière édition par CheeQu#4316, le 3 janv. 2019 04:53:28
