How on earth do you deal with the Fortress Syndicate BS? I've given up and just skip them. Random appearances, escorts, all fine...but that fortress takes 30 minutes and I'm out of ideas :(

It keeps spawning crap before WO kills the doors so the bosses keep healing and the spawns are literally endless!

Yes, it can be quite of a hassle, but I usually jump around with Flame Dash and it goes down at some point. But it's not 30 minutes, max 1 min. You should be able to get it to at least half health before they start spawning, and AoE from WO should hit the door as well.

But I agree that it is not the best skill vs. a... door.

@Suck: Someone already mentioned it, but added cold damage does provide more damage than Empower. From your PoB link, Empower gives 6900 more DPS and Added cold 7900. A big difference imo. And even better if you swap cold penetration for added cold damage.

haha 30 min was an exaggeration but sounds like I just need more deeps :/

The big summoners from A2 seem to be soaking all my hits. I was using Efficacy in place of cold pen so I'll swap that and hopefully it helps. Thanks!

The increased damage is against standard mobs.

But I checked with Shaper/Elder also, and Empower + Added Cold is still better than Empower + Cold Penetration.

my full mf carry with windripper can more

anyway my mf build better for 2 cons
1th - u can run NO regen T16 guards
2th u no need stop for stack win orbs

idk why all buy +2 helmet enchant if u can run with 10 stacks and fine ;D

You cannot look at the DPS in PoB alone. The projectiles will overlap, increasing damage 5-fold.

But you need to stop to attack with your bow? It's the same thing. With Winter Orb you can charge the orb and then dash through the battlefield, killing everything instantly.

I can tell you the difference between the different enchants (using this builds PoB)

10 stacks, no enchant: 83k DPS
10 stacks, 40% damage enchant: 88k DPS
12 stacks, +2 stack: 93k DPS

So with +2 to stacks, it is effectively 12% more dps compared to no enchant, and 5.6% more dps compared to % increased damage enchant.

If you are not running at max stacks, the % increased damage is better of course. But when facing bosses or hard enemies, you will most likely be running at max stacks.
