new gem only works with full es = not always + we dont need es leech it has, as leech built in body armour

Nothing wrong with leveling a Energy Leech Support and trying it out.

You might use it on another build afterwards anyway :)

On the other hand, I had no difficulties reaching es leech cap without extra leech.

If you can suggest a unique that lets you overleech and we can fit in the build, lol. Then you can potentially get 65% more damage.

Otherwise create a slayerversion, lol.

What would you recommend as main skill for the upcoming league start? Is it better to start off with sunder and use it till ~ maps and respec those points or go directly for molten strike?

I have not played sunder in a long time, but i could understand from everything that it was nerfed to the ground.

Maybe you could go for tectonic slam? that would be using the same support gems that I suggested and thus you would be able to switch molten strike <-> tectonic slam and see which you like the most and also you could put in molten strike when you are at act bosses.

Also I suggest using Warlords Mark + Blasphemy, so this would keep a steady number of Endurance charges for charges tectonic slam :)

You wouldnt be able to use claws if using tectonic, but it can be used with staffs, axes, swords, maces and unarmed.

DOFL always work with this build because it your life not full mean you died!

Some people were saying not to try HoWa as a league start. What are your thoughts? I'm well versed in the game but I would say HoWa is probably the more complex build I've tried. I prefer to not totally redo a build to respec if that makes sense,versus gradually farming into my end game build.

I usually started with builds that require less uniques. This build needs like what, 2 uniques at least? 1 unique claw to get going. That's pretty ez honestly. I'm prolly gonna start with ice trap still :X . Anyway, this build has been my league starter for 2 leagues already and yea it was ezpz despite I started pretty late in Betrayal.

Last league I made is as leaguestarter softcore and first hardcore character. Took me 8 hours to reach maps with all labs done.
Then I started grinding for currency + crafting most of the gears myself and bought the uniques in the listed priority at both Softcore fresh leaguestart and Hardcore mid league :)

Getting a HoWA + Astramentis is enough for farming uber lab and T10'ish maps while using life.
Could either farm tabula, or use a 5link 3r 2b/4r 1b or grind a 6linked str/int armour :)

I respecced from life to CI within 2 days both at softcore and hardcore.

But I do admit, using a pure rare storm brand elementalist is easier because it does not require thinking.

This guide also relieves you from thinking, since I actually wrote everything down you should do, lol.

But Hand Of Wisdom might be a bottleneck aswell if the amount of people using this as starter is very high.

Edit: About respeccing. It is not expensive. You need to respec like 20-30 points or something, so you would need something like 15 regrets to do it :)

new holy spells with insane added damage effectiveness and spell totem is good league starter too, you can play as chieftain and than reroll to this jugg )
