You could make it work as I say, but you need to try even harder to stack all the intelligence possible. I am talking about converting every single str and dex node into intelligence, getting a elder belt with +50-60 intelligence and +12% attributes, getting rings with 55 intelligence, boots, shields.... At some point I think this becomes very powerful, but tbh it is jus easier to use a 15 c astramentis.

I dont know if its allready asked but i see some ppl use vessel of vinktar like the guide says but others,including Hasunics use Taste of hate?

If we use taste of hate without vessel wouldnt be hard to keep lightning res above all for wise oak?

And that is exactly why I write people should use vessel of vinktar.

I somehow without giving it much thought was precisely 35 resistance higher than fire and cold. So I searched for a jewel with 15 lightning resistance locked and then tried to get 3 damage mods on the side. This locked my lightning resistance at precisely 50 higher than fire and cold.

Thus when I use all my flasks all my resistances are exactly 125, 125 and 125. This gives me full lightning penetration from wise oak and full defensive measure from wise oak.
I felt this was stronger than using vessel of vinktar due to the flask also using many charges - but it is not something I would include in a guide, since balancing resistances are near-impossible with so many uniques and there is so many suffixes that are much more important than balancing resistances.

taste of hate doesnt give damage, only defence

Just killed uber elder first try. Far from optimised gear, as Im saving up for a HH for my second char.

I think capping out at 8k ES is more than enough for the fight, anything above that can be sacrificed for more damage.

That means you don't care about ES on jewels once you have the right watcher's eye, and you can go for more offensive gear options (e.g. getting WED becomes far more important than getting flat ES)

with 11k es and 660k per ball elder dps its very easy :D can tank 2 shapers balls in a row, shaper slams, etc , make any mistakes and will still be deathless

you dont have leech at all atm, i dont know how you playing :D

use energy leech gem instead of conc effect or faster attack, it will boost leech greatly while you hybrid

you can use enfeeble instead of projectile weakness for more survivability

also i would take Vitality Void in tree for life leech

Ah before i saw ur reply i switched to ci, got alot tankier, 6.5k es atm and i dont have anmy problems except for elemental reflect maps..

just did Hall of Grand Masters with this build

only one boss made me swap to scorching ray
