Finally managed to craft some decent synthesis boots with % increased intelligence - my dream craft this league :)

These are slightly better regarding my final Int value (2525 vs 2513) and my maximum ES (18.160 vs 18.125) compared with my previous boots but those had 8 % movement speed implicit:

I knew someone would craft %Inc Int on boots and I had a feeling lilian would be the person to do it. Very nice! I may have to give this a try!

You can try but look at these pathofexile.com/trade searches first :

Sorcerer Boots (+54 intelligence fractured)
https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Synthesis/pBOGPef0

Arcanist Slippers (+54 intelligence fractured)
https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Synthesis/bwdylKIL

Conjurer Boots - lower ES base (+54 intelligence fractured)
https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Synthesis/old2kqcl

There are almost no decent fractured bases with at least 1 fractured mod as + intelligence with value over 54. You need 161+ intelligence gathered on three basses to even try to get 5% increased intelligence (not guaranteed, you can get +20 intelligence instead of it).

Of course, you can buy ES based boots with another same(recommended) specific fractured mod (prefix) scour them and try to hit also +54 intelligence on each pair then regal each of them, and lucky annul on each of them the regaled mod to have a 50% chance to hit 5% intelligence or +20 intelligence on synthesized base.

But the chances and the cost are probably not even worth trying.

Before getting that pair i failed in other 2 tries with dual mod fractured bases:

For the first failed try (result with 3 synthesized mods) had 1x arcanist slipper with 2x fractured mods (intelligence and movement speed), 1x carnal boots with 2x fractured mods (intelligence and movement speed) and 1x conjurer boots with 3x fractured mods (intelligence/movement speed/mana). Guess what base the game chose to be result one : the worst in terms of ES - carnal boots and even if it took in consideration the + intelligence mod, instead of hitting 5% intelligence i hit the other mod +20 intelligence. At least it hit 3 mods with 2/2/3 bases

For the 2nd failed try(result with 2 synthesized mods) had 1x sorcerer boots with 2x fractured mods (intelligence/movement speed), 1x arcanist slippers with 2x fractured mods (intelligence/cold resistance) and 1x conjurer boots with 2x fractured mods (intelligence/movement speed). Again guess what base the game chose : conjurer boots which, is lowest ES based for endgame gear and on top of that instead of hitting %intelligence/+intelligence combo together with movement speed hit the frickin cold resistance :(

Those 2 failures cost me 5 exalts and in the final try that succeeded had 2x arcanist slippers bases with 1x fractured mod (+ intelligence) and 1x conjurer boots base with 2x fractured mod (intelligence and % increased ES).
Scoured them, crafted % increased ES on single fractured mod ones, regaled them, failed 1 time with 1 annul(so 3 annul used) and when i put them in synthetizer all 3 had + intelligence/%increased ES. I was extremely lucky to hit 5% intelligence/+20 intelligence choice instead of %ES, and from here the game to select 5% intelligence and also to choose the higher ES base - arcanist slippers. Final try cost me 2 exalts (the bases) + annuls + some alterations

Damn, that looks too pricey for me to even attempt. Oh well. I'm almost to 2400 Int so that will have to be good enough.

Looks like these are in high demand as well...just had it drop. I smell many nerfs coming next league.

I play on standard, and I promise you there's no "budget" version getting to 2000 int.

My rings, which don't even have %int, sell for about 5 exalts each on standard. A corrupted Cyclopean and Astramantis with %int implicit is like 10+ exalts each.

A shaper 520 ES regalia with %int STARTS around 20 exalts. A good one with 650+ ES and better %int is over 50 exalts. A base, just to try crafting on, that's not even 6S or 6L starts around 4-5 exalts.

A watcher's eye with around #20 ES on hit while using Discipline starts around 10 exalts. A #30 on hit starts around 35 exalts. A double Discipline bonus Eye (#ES on hit & maybe ES regen rate or faster start to ES) is like 100+ exalts.

Ah, I missed that, sorry. Well league play is a great place to get items cheaper. Maybe I should start selling in Standard, lol.

One of the problems on Standard is there are a few select people who have gotten so rich, they have bought up every type of a certain item, and then they mark it way up so only other insanely wealthy people can buy them.

Decent Watcher's Eye's are a perfect example. Some A-hole named KatycatQT owns like 500 of the one's that everyone needs/uses most (seriously, at least 500, I'm not kidding), and he/she has them all marked up to absurd prices. Some of them sitting there for over 4 months for sale.

And as soon as some unknowing person (probably a newer player) puts a good one up for sale, for like maybe 1-5 exa, KatycatQT immediately buys it, then puts it right back up for sale for 40+ exa.

I've offered trades and even came up with 20 or so exa worth of gear trying to get one from him/her, but the A-hole just tells me to piss off and stop wasting their time.

Jerks like this have ruined the market and make the game less enjoyable for others. Especially newer people like myself.
Damn, I'm sorry to hear that Standard has become such a cesspool. I used to play it exclusively with my old guild...but I eventually outgrew their knowledge and wanted more. I used to hate leagues until I learned how to build good characters and then learned they are a great way to build your skills and also play in a fresh, untainted economy.

In fact the first time I tried this build was with a Scion back in Standard that was already Lv 94 so I just took advantage of the skill reset and gave it a shot. Then I had my first Shaper kill and I haven't looked back.

I hope you can give leagues a try...sounds like you might have a better experience.

Finally unlocked Uber Elder. I've watched Kelyvnn's video and I'm going to give it a shot. Wish me luck guys. :)

Good luck! Play aggressive but to be sure that you don't die try not to facetank for the first time the shaper balls (1 you can eat probably but 2 or 3 successive may kill you if combined with other sources of damage while you are not on full dps).
Rest of fight is easy!

And make sure you always leech from the vulnerable target!

You can craft stuff fairly cheaply.

I made
for about 30c. The bases were about 5c (54 int gloves.)

Then, the tricky step -- scour and regal until you get the same 3 affixes across all 3 gloves. This typically takes 10-20 regals. At this point each glove is rare and has the same 2 affixes, one fractured int and one whatever you ended up with. (I had +mana for these.)

Then synthesize and cross your fingers you hit the 1/3 chance. This took me two tries, at about 30c per try.

I'm not quite sure what type of glove you get though. It's possible I'll need to find 3 sorcerer's gloves to be sure I synthesize a sorcerer's glove.

Nice craft , i may say you were quite lucky getting %intelligence with only 1 fractured mod but poor base for our build. Sorcerer gloves are indeed best base but price of fractured 54+ intelligence sorcerer gloves is extremely high.

And you cant find them on market to be honest...
