IT s not about the clear speed meta tho, they don t have to put overpowered items every new extension. Clear speed meta would continue to live on without those new mods and op items.
They just don t need those new op shit for the players to be op. It is just adding poop on top of poop at this point. Players are so strong already why do we get stronger and stronger items? The op is not talking about slowing down the game he is talking about stopping all those op league items that make no sense. Incursion level 28 100+ life chest for example, is that needed? Yeah, if GGG actually managed to slow things down significantly then there would be enough players complaining that they'd end up seeing big losses.
It looks more like the current design direction is just throw more OP stuff around so people can choose their kind of blowing up the game and call it a game. |

i hoped that with diablow being diablow, poe could quit this candy crush route it's been on. but i guess a game actually requiring even a tiny degree of thought/skill is just too much to expect in this day and age.
