To ignite a monster, your summoner needs to do fire damage. But if you do fire damage, Elemental Equilibrium will give the monster +25% fire res.

You are right about +1 curse on chest, it will free up 5 passive points.

No it doesn't. I recommend it because it boosts zealotry from 15% to 22% (7% more) and you only need to find a decent unset ring to free up a gem slot. I consider it a cheap damage upgrade.

Ppl are still trying to boost DPS - why?
Even in my not the BiS gear (5-link Vis mortis chest, 83 lvl spectres, low damage rolls on jewels etc) I have 550k Shaper DPS per spectre, so 2,2 kk (or 2,8kk with phantasms) overall - this is more than enough.

Regarding the +1 spectre rare chest:

Do the +1 curse and max life roll need a specific ilvl? Or other master-crafts? I am not sure about that.

Is there any watchers eye mods that would be good for this build?

How can we add Shock to the build ? it boost dmg a lot judging from POB.
Also how can i get fortify ? i feel really squishy even in maps tier 13.
I have 6k hp and 1.4k ES and i follow the guide 1:1

Well, maybe this ones:

You have Phasing while affected by Haste
Unaffected by Temporal Chains while affected by Haste
(5-8)% chance to Dodge Spell Hits while affected by Haste

(and if you are not running Zealotry paired with Generosity)
(10-15)% increased Cast Speed while affected by Zealotry
Consecrated Ground you create while affected by Zealotry causes enemies to take (8-10)% increased Damage

It boosts, yes - for pure lightning mages, especially, Elementalists.
Not for you, coz your lightning damage is LOW.

You can get Fortify by changing Flame dash to Shield charge - Faster attacks - Fortify support.
But Shield charge can't pass obstacles

Too boost our survivability in the DPS build, I think it's better to swap Elemental Weakness to Enfeeble.

EW curse adds not many against end-game bosses (only -17% resists, this is too low, compared to full potential Elemental Equilibrium or Combustion gem debuff) and DPS loss would be lower a bit, than if we would change Projectile Weakness

Might of been asked but...My fire eaters throw their torch at the first pack and then melee until resummoned. bug or?
