Can we at least get better stun mitigations for CI now?

put a node behind CI called Insane Sacrifice

Insane Sacrifice
50% Less Maximum Energy Shield
Cannot be Stunned
Cannot be Frozen

Why would anyone take this cripple node?

hahaha you said chalupa that's awesome.

Ya, that makes me hungry:

I guess he means Eye of Chayula:
"You've got to grind, grind, grind at that grindstone..."
Necessity may be the mother of invention, but poor QoP in PoE is the father of frustration.

The perfect solution to fix Trade Chat:

When I played CI, the problem I had was never getting stunned. It was getting stunned more than once. If Brine King Pantheon can still prevent stunlocks, then it'll be a great option for characters that don't have the uniques they need yet.

...seems like a good time to introduce more interesting anti stun options.

Valyrium - Negative cold resistance to be overcome, boon to fire resistance, minorish ES gains, flips stun threshold to work off ES instead of Life. Weak overall, but also not as negatively impactful as other options

Eye of Chalupa - Simply "Cannot be Stunned - The Amulet". Has literally no other purpose and thus is a fantastic target for Vaaling to fish for that sweet sweet +1 Curse, but otherwise is a hard stop to stun issues at the cost of basically not having an amulet

Kaom's Roots - Wearable Unwavering Stance. Comes with steep penalties, but also includes Chill/Freeze mitigation in its "cannot be slowed below base speed, so solves CI's OTHER big lack-of-life issue. The huge life roll does you no good and the lack of both sockets and movement speed sucks, but this one item deals with all of CI's issues in one slot.

Skyforth - One of, if not the, single most individually overpowered items in the game, built specifically to give CI/Low-Life builds every mod they could ever possibly want in one single item. Drawback: nothing whatsoever beyond the fact that it costs more money than most PoE players will ever see.

Kiara's Determination - Stun immunity in a bottle! Chill/Freeze immunity, too! Tends to be mad expensive, but with CI taking all those whacks, CI's favorite items will probably drop in price. Requires a bit more paying-attention to utilize properly, but also gives you back all your item slots.

Ezomyte Hold - Even more shitty budget stun immunity! if you can't find/afford one of these, you're doing it wrong!

Actually Unwavering Stance - Stun immunity in the tree! Why wear US when you can just take it, instead? Pathing out that way sucks, but it means you can wear regular boots, a regular amulet, and still be stun immune!

Practical Application...
Antistun-on-Kill Merc...
Antistun-on-Kill Uber...
Energy Shield's Innate Antistun...

In summation: how many "interesting anti-stun options" do you need? What're you fishing for? They've pretty much already covered the gamut; if you're on a budget, do Chalupa or Valyrium. If you're on an absolutely ridiculous budget and can somehow tolerate the ES loss from a red helm, Ezomyte Hold. If you're Mathil, buy Skyforth. If you're bwteeen Budget and Mathil, running Flaskfinder, and/or have a good trigger finer, get a Kiara's Determination. Actually going to Unwavering Stance can be beneficial for certain builds (convert the Strength along the way into Intelligence for CI Whispering Ice builds, for example). If you don't like any of those, run Merc Lab until you get Antistun on Kill 2, snag Practical Application, and just tough it out.

What else is possibly missing?

You forgot block% + stun and block recovery.

If your block% is high enough it negates the need for any additional stun prevention equipment on ci.

Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes
80% stun avoidance on boot enchant???

I think the should just buff cast when stunned way up and allow for some weird builds lol
I dont see any any key!
You can actually get 100% avoidance with essence of scorn (hat and gloves) and heart of oak cluster but everybody uses them on rings and stuff. If you really wanna go full avoidance (maybe you got shitty rolls on the scorns/ don't have highest tier essence cuz early league) you can even equip lakishu (instead of say, a 70 spell damage weapon) with those.

Also i played a cast when stunned build in hardcore breach. 50% chance to ignore stuns (ci) is really nice but in a breach I was unable to move for full 2 second periods sometimes mashing my shield charge key. Good thing max block and spellblock is pretty op.

Stun immunity is definitely not overrated. I had to rely on defences powerful mechanics combined with leech to not die to packs. on top of running 3 purities, and i didn't even do higher than t11 maps. Leech was absolutely worthless on single target, basically if i wasn't lucky enough to block enough times before my recharge starts i have to run away.

couldn't kill a single breach rare though. If i just brought 1 self cast setup i probably could though, but it was truly a dedicated afk build. Also shit like exploding squids sometimes scary, you cant pop them manually and they do secondary damage so ignores your block, always hits!
