How about a "Casual Self Found" option for the casual player?

When things get too casual it gets old fast though.
Similar to how you would enjoy Torchlight II for a day or two and week later you quit as its too casual. |

If you want to have cool/rare items but do not want to trade or grind, then I am afraid this game is not for you. Not much more can be said.
I personaly don't see a problem with adding a separate from everyone non-transfer self-found high drop rates league, however I believe it would go against the developers' vision regarding this game. |

Better drop rate? Why? You can self found gear up easily already. Also, this thread should be in suggestions and its so 2014.

I personally would have no problem with this, if they put in some restrictions.
Separate chat realm. Much like league and standard...This casual self found should have its own chat. Completely separate. There can be no way for this "Casual Self Found" playtype with increased drops can be able to transfer any itmes/characters into other modes of the game. All items bound to character. If you want to go solo self found, but want a boosted drop rate, you should be able to only farm for the char you are playing. Ultimately I wouldn't hear about it in game, it wouldn't effect my game modes economy, It wouldn't effect the multiplayer aspect of the game at all. The go at it. My thoughts, it wouldn't even split the general games playerbase, as Im guessing anyone who really wants this kind of single player mode, where you couldn't even share your gear/setup in game, nor show off, nor compete is really playing the game now anyway...would prob just attract its own market of players. There may be many who check it out for the boosted drop rate, but i can see most of them coming back pretty quick. |

Why would anybody play SSF if they would add a "SSF-with-better-drops" league ????
Terrible idea, if you want to play PoE very casually, fix your expectation, because it isn't and won't be the other way around. SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.
