Farm and ye shall find. I still do not think that justifies trying to play SSF with a designated build in mind just because you know that eye of chayula will eventually drop. I wish people would just say what they mean, that they wouldnt enjoy SSF because of "x reason" be it that you cant make specific builds, be it that you can be incredibly currency starved, be it whatever else. But please dont make up bullshit reasons that are a thin veiled insult towards everyone playing that mode. You dont need to justify your actions, it is a game, play what you enjoy. If you decide to NOT play standard in the first place, then going to standard because of a drop seems like a non-option. I'm not sure why you think this devalues SSF. Each to their own I guess.
