I don't know about others, but he feels pretty impossible for me (with most of my builds) given my usual 80-100ms latency with regular lag spikes.
Even though that kind of latency doesn't feel very bad in most of the game, it still makes it impossible to play using lockstep, which I think is very important for this fight. This fact makes me have random deaths to invisible slams, standing on vortex/beams, or standing outside zana's protection bubble while I see myself positioned correctly (I find out that I was standing in the wrong place after typing /oos while dead). It is true that these things can be overcome though, as I found my self being able to consistently reach the 3rd phase and give a decent fight, after I bought and tried 8 sets, even though I could barely survive the 1st phase at the first few runs. I felt myself really improving after each attempt, and think I could learn him well enough to kill him after some more tries, despite all the unfair hurdles. " Why would i say l2p when the OP clearly states it's due to his lack of reflexes? Though without knowing his build and theory-craft we can't really gauge if he has the required dps checked off. Shaper is mechanically easy if you meet the requirements, the end. Nothing changed since i said that. It seems logical that not meeting the requirements turns it into a difficult fight, no? Might be to much logic for people like you and I_NO to handle though, but rest assured, i can live with that. Shaper is nothing but a dps check with some mechanics on top. His moveset is easily predictable once you sit in there and watch him for a few minutes. If it takes you that many tries and you still had no success, well - I guess the fight isnt for you.

I would like to know about this cast on death gas attack.
Im really good at dying in this game. So if I can die and kill shaper since im a filthy softcore playa, that'd be great. |
