OP, you're surprised that being vocal about breaking ToS, regardless of whether we as a community agree it's ehtical or not, can get you banned? And you've been using those macros? Due to your candor on the subject here, I wouldn't be surprised if you actually got banned for the macros in some other fashion.
Possible reasons... 1.) You told people what you did in a PM and all it took was one person to report you, then GGG to investigate and ban you. 2.) GGG discovered your macro usage from their own methods of client to server communication, and banned you. 3.) Your PM was read by an automatic filter, alerted GGG, they investigated, and then banned you. Any of those is possible because as a community we don't know the exact ways in which GGG monitors the client to prevent cheating and breaches of the ToS. Yes, there are probably botters and others with accounts for PoE that are abusing the system, but they're also probably much more clever about covering up that usage than you obviously were. I just can't believe you were surprised about a ban when you openly talk about and use macros that perform multiple actions. The real problem is they designed the game to REQUIRE potions for endgame gameplay.
1)Want to max resists through gear? too bad it doesnt mean squat 2)want to run purity aura's? They help, but in reality still mean squat Oh and not mention anything that builds around Life being a utility to stay alive, good luck, since thats where you will need to put all your nodes on the tree to get enough to survive, can forget about much offense unless you can find it between life nodes. Make flasks a utility instead of a requirement, then they can ban all flask macro users plain and simple. " IGN:Axe_Crazy

Like I said a few posts back, if you are cramping your hands and having other wrist problems etc from using flasks, you are doing something wrong and need to learn computer physical health. You also aren't playing right if you have to spam all your flasks all the time really. You may argue that isn't true for some builds but I personally haven't played a single build that required flask spamming to survive, they are utility to me. "It's all clearer now

" i shouldn't be banned for "breaching ToU" if the ToU doesnt say anything about "cannot use macros that perform more than 1 server action" its hard to play legit when everyone(including streamers) use some kind of macro, and the official rules don't say anything about what kind of macros you can and cannot use. What are you even talking about? I know plenty of streamers that don't use macros, and do all content in hardcore... If you can only play the game with flask macros, then that just means you are terrible at the game. Apparently you are also terrible at remembering your throwaway acct passwords as well. Holy fuck... this thread.
