His account creation date tells a different story.

What does that say? Cheat freely, we ban you a couple of days, after that we are good buddies again?

The ban was lifted. It was not a perm. ban...
U MAD?

oohh so if u stream with x amount of viewers you never get permabanned for breaking the same rules as the players who get permabanned? Makes sense.

I love how everyone is bashing on the OP for using a macro to press his potions. Just about every stream I have ever looked at has the people doing the same thing. You can't tell me that they can fire off all their potions within a millisecond while moving their character and scratching their head with one hand. Hell, I'm sure half the clowns lecturing the OP do the same thing.

At this point they should just allow the macros and get it over with. They've opted for ridiculous clear speed over any other type of gameplay, may as well just go full shit mode.

A lot of us have one of those handy mouses (mice?) that have 6 or so buttons on one side. You map all of your flasks to them, leave one open for something that doesn't stop you and you can slam all pots with one finger move (usually within one frame) while moving and scratching your head with one hand. It also frees up your other hand for using moves and whatnot.

Just saying, it isn't all macro's, it is also buying gamer gear.
I guess I will have to buy a one way ticket to hell with your lives

and i'm sure most people arent mentally challenged enough to ask for help with a macro and then report the guy who helps you and shares the macro with you. That guy might be banned too actually.

if dupe info gets out into the public it can ruin the whole game economy, not really the same as a macro pressing a few buttons for you to avoid unnecessary hand strain

dont be so sure. it was recent enough that someone posted about that very thing happening with trade requests and being reported. which ya, the circumstances in that post were completely retarded. so don't assume the less than average joe out there isn't someone that will just take up some ridiculous cause on a whim and go on a reporting spree just because they are bored.

still, the facts remain which you have stated here in the thread as well. you automated your processes. you broke the ToU. GGG said GG to your account.

This has been a long time problem. The blame lies with GGG.

GGG needs to either:

A) Ban ALL external programs (macros, etc) equally.

AND/OR:

B) Include the specific ones they support within their own UI.

that's nearly impossible. most gaming hardware comes with driver customisation software that allows you to record macro functions. like many people said in this thread, if you macro, and keep your mouth shut, you might never get caught. but if you do, blame is on you.

it's like IRL financial fraud - not ALL kinds of fraud are defined as forbidden by the law, sometimes the first guy to get caught doing a new type of fraud gets away with it before they make a specific law for it. but the guy knows he's doing fraud. you know you're using macros. be a good person and don't do it, is all :)
This just reeks of "I cheated horribly got caught and now I'm going to say I didn't cheat horribly." There's threads like this in every MMO and FPS game, and the one thing they all have in common is that only the developer is in the wrong

I said a few pages back, is this Drumpf playing PoE? This is going on double digit pages and his emotions have not chilled out in the slightest to look at this from a rational angle. It has to be him (or one of his supporters who gets fair and balanced news from Breitbart and Infowars).

1. a friend told me about the in-game message keyword detection, coincidence? i think not

2. even if he would've reported me, GGG still has no proof i did anything, other than chatlog

3. "automating processes" would also mean that any and all macros are illegal, which they are not

Also I guess GGG allows americans to spam their pointless politics on the forums too in every thread? I thought the spammers only did it in every in-game global channel but on forums too? holy shit you people are literally braindead, too bad forum mods will let you spam for some reason
