I understand the frustration of people participating in trade with dicks around, but that's a small price to pay compared to a situation where one person dictates your trade participation based on his own personal mood that day.

new account so you first need to level up to level 25 before you can trade. You also keep the hassle of always transferring your items/currency through multiple accounts.

3th if you price fix again you get banned again and need to repeat the process

Also, when he stops indexing the forums then it will cost people real money. They would probably think twice about doing it if that was the case.

But if he did choose to ban people that post low with no intention of selling who cares. I mean obviously you do with your warped sense of thought on this topic that he somehow needs to ban himself , i dont even know where to begin your thought process is so obviously discombobulated .

At the end of the day its his web site he can ban whomever he wants for whatever he wants , and only the scammers and price fixers will be upset by him doing so.

Punishing people based on personal bias and justifications when there are overarching ground rules which are not being broken = being a dick.

That's about it, it's not far fetched and it isn't illogical.

I don't particularly like flippers/scammers or people that twist the system into their favor to gain a bit of extra dough, but i sure as hell dislike a community based judge that just does as he pleases more.

Nobody within the community should be given the power to actively undermine the gaming experience of another user directly.

Though like mentioned before, GGG allowed this to happen so ultimately it's their mess. Doesn't mean i need to be "ok" with the current situation though.

I don't personally have a problem with XYZ removing the really obvious fakesters. Like... the dudes that were bringing exalts down in BSC, then were dumb enough to post on reddit and say "HA HA HA LOOK WUT WE R DOOIN. LULz"

I think it is a dangerous situation, like Boem is saying, but I have faith in XYZ being a reasonable fella who isn't going to do anything drastic without proper evidence. For instance, Chabbabbbayala or whatever, who has had every popular item on the market, listed for 1 alt, a bunch of times over... needs to go. He wasn't even manipulating prices, he was just vandalizing the market.

If you "don't particularly like.." but "..sure as hell dislike.." then you, by your language, indicate to some degree, anarchy is of greater value to you than law.

If you don't like the fact that a person has power over you, don't use the site. I have no idea if the owner of the site is actually even doing this, but it's well within his right, and owes neither you or anyone else an explanation.

I guess the question is how did xyz know that this guy was a fixer? Was it based upon some kind of report from other shoppers? Did track the guys item post history and look for patterns?

I don't know about a system where people can be voted off the island. This has been abused before just because one person doesn't like another.

POE balanced around trade.
POE half the game is the economy.
POE we'll just let someone else deal with indexing sales because we don't want to create an ingame version of poe.trade... ?!?!?!?!?!?

Doesn't fucking make any sense to me. If you are marketing the trade aspect of your game as part of the package you should put some fucking time into it.

BUT..i guess on the other side of things GGG relies on MTX and stash tab sales and we all know how glorious the MTX organization tab is /s

By when that 3rd party site is better at taking actions against players that ruins other game experiences . That breaks my "funny fuse"

Banning people based on fake listings is all fine if the site advocates this as a violation of it's use, not on a wimp.

But as far as the PoE game rules and ToS go, these actions are not against them.

All he has is the API data available, while on the other hand, GGG owns all of your account data to justify crucifixion if required.

Which one would you rather have the power to directly alter your game-experience?

There is something that states thst if you abuse something knowing its not right, even if its not illegal( make the difference between not illegal and legal) you csn be considered guilty of abusing a hole in the laws
