Ban on poe.trade = new account.
This is an useless method. |

" new account so you first need to level up to level 25 before you can trade. You also keep the hassle of always transferring your items/currency through multiple accounts. 3th if you price fix again you get banned again and need to repeat the process IMO better fix then doing nothing. http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/913599 <--- mirror Thread

If it's true, the owner of a third party program unrelated to the game development defines the rules and is using force?

He is not banned, don't get your expectation high.
If he used forum shops, he must bum from time to time otherwise poe will not list the items. If he used premium stash tabs he must not have his account private. And 3rd, poe does this kind of wierd stuff from time to time (overflowing request, server are flooded, no real time update etc). In the end he is not banned so let's chill and go play the game. |

I can confirm the ban method from xyz is working fine.
Not even need to price fix or anything just say on forum you don't intend to sell ( followed by: " Till there arn't any trade improvements " and you will be blacklisted ( i'm the proof of what i'm saying it was almost two years ago i think now ). When it happenned i was a bit pissed off by the arbitrary decision going against free speech basicly, but now well how to say it ? If xyz want to ban price fixers, I don't give a shit, they will gotwhat they deserve and it's not enough compared to the damage they cause to each league's economy. Now if we could also have something against trade 820 piece of **** that create account to do the good old box scam then creating unlimited new account to repeat the step i would call it a day. Hf :)

So one question.
Does PoE.trade have a "moral code of conduct" which you need to agree to before utilizing the web-site? Because as is, all i read is "xyz is banning people on his web-site based on a few made-up rules that aren't stated anywhere and not condoned by the gm's". Flipping is price fixing, so look who has multiple hundreds of exalts and you might see who isn't get bananad. It seems poe.trade is very inconsistent with his bans if that stuff is even true.
Should be GGG's job to fix their api and trade system, not third party sites. |

I think people are doing group price fixing nowadays. Like the other day I was trying to buy X for 30 c and there was like 5 listed at 30c by 5 different ppl, then they jumped to 50c. all the 30c guys would not answer. They were probably hoping to snipe some unsuspecting dude doing price match, dude sees 5@30 lists for 29c a 50c item and this group snaps it up. now they are all 50c+ again.

" Simply put, he's being a dick for banning dicks. Which is allowed, but pretty much forces him on the same moral grounds as the ones hes trying to punish/discourage. And that makes me wonder, did he ban himself from his own site as-well in order to really drive his message home? Or is it just a whimsical abuse of power?
