Hacked.

Account was just hacked, tried to log in and someone kept kicking me offer. I frantically tried to find the changed password on my other screen( while still logging in to kick them off). Unfortunately, they beat me to it and changed my password. Scanning for viruses now.

The support forum or PM someone....you know....with your keyboard and stuff...

In the top-left corner of this page, click on "MESSAGES".
Once you're there, click compose, add recipient "support" without the quotes, press add which is on the right.
Then just add a subject and explain your story in the content box.

Thanks, I just used the contact support button next to messages and sent them an email.

Support can help you recover your account (but not anything that was on the account). In all honesty, the only way you're going to remove a virus (with any certainty) is by a reformat.

Scan found a trojan in my chrome memory process. This would have to have been injected into my memory this morning after I booted up. All I did this morning was surf some poe websites and play some poe. I'll have to review my browsing history and see if I can find where it came from.

My assumption is correct that it would have been created this morning after boot yes?

The easy way, anyways. I would boot up in safemode, disable all non-essential system processes and startup items, do a system file integrity check, replace any modified system files from the system disk (there is also a tool out there that can pull these files from the internet), re-register system dlls, do malware scans, clean out hosts file, reinstall current service packs and damaged drivers, make sure default homepage isn't linking to more malware, etc. I would of course research the type of malware im working with to get a comprehensive understanding of the damage done before doing the whole kit-n-kaboodle damage control process.

I'm very adept at cleaning up and restoring systems after a system has become compromised by malware. Feel free to send me any questions you may have. I am also willing to provide remote assistance during my free time.
