The purpose of armor is to protect life. Not fashion. The reason a punch hurts but a knife thrust kills despite having the same amount of force behind it is because the knife concentrates the force to one point. Armor is curved to distribute and deflect that force. Its cosmetics, you all can do a support pack in future geared more towards for female characters.

So far all armor sets are male dominated despite having 3 female classes.
